Ugh and ouch.
I have an iPhone 7 Plus. I needed to buy new wireless earbuds for walking and general listening to music and videos.
So a few months ago, I bought inexpensive Taotronic Wireless Stereo Headsets. But, while the sound is good, they are killing my ears! They are fine for 5-10 mins, but for any longer.....ouch!
I've decided I really need to upgrade and invest in a more comfortable set of earbuds. I've researched and read a lot about the Bose, Beats and the Jaybird X3. The reviews are all over the place. I don't want/need over the ear style for extreme exercises. I walk on a treadmill or outside and listen to music/podcasts at bedtime.
Being able to pair easily (and stay paired) with the iPhone 7 plus is a must.
Any recommendations for really comfortable, Wireless Bluetooth earbuds?

These are the best wireless earbuds in my opinion. I've recommended them here several times. I can not wear the earbuds that come with an iphone bec they seriously hurt my ears, I guess I have small ear holes. These plantronics don't hurt, they sound good, they do not move while running, the battery lasts and they are flexible. Highly recommend them!

I really really love my AirPods. I was very skeptical about them because I HATE the standard earpods that come with the iPhone and they never stay in my ears. But a super critical friend bought them and loved them, so I decided to give them a shot. They have been great. They have never fallen out on me, the pairing is truly magical, the battery life is long, the charging is quick and convenient... I am very happy with them.

Thanks! I'll check these out.
I've been really curious about the AirPods. I'm a total Apple geek and like the idea of seamless integration. I do worry about losing them. I have noticed that there are secondary market straps available. My other concern is that they are a 'first generation' product and can't help but wonder what improvements will come in the next gen.
Thanks again.

I just feel like the music could be slightly louder with a snugger earpiece, but I think they don't fit super snug as a safety feature so you can hear outside noises like cars. At the same time I bought my husband these: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LP6CFEC/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I actually think these sound a bit better because of the earpiece. I bought him the cheap ones because he loses everything! This is the same guy who lost a pair of $400 prescription sunglasses in the ocean one week after getting them. Of course these he hasn't lost yet and he's been very happy with them. He said he would replace them with the same ones if/when he does lose them. Both work great with our iphones.

I have never had good headphones. The AirPods are amazing. I love them. They fit well and are comfortable. Syncing is a cinch.......

I just bought a pair of the Bose wireless ear buds. They were pricey, but so far I really like them. My DH just informed me that Bose headphones spy on you. Who knew that was even possible. Sounds a little crazy to me. I have Bose wired earbuds I used with my iPhone 6 and iPad Mini. They are very comfortable. I'm so tempted by the AirPods. They can be pinged! I love that. I use my iWatch to ping my iPhone a lot. CeeCee says the syncing is cinch . My dilemma with the AirPods is that they are back ordered and will not ship for 6 weeks. Do I have the patience to wait?!?? Decisions, decisions.

I wear back beat by PLantronics and love them. I got them at Costco and they are very comfy and have a long battery life. I run and they don't bounce at all.

Agreed with all of the above. The earbud could be just a tad smaller but really I don't mind bec they do fit so well and don't move. I also agree about it being just a bit louder. It's a compromise bec they're made so you can hear ambient noise too like you said.

I have Jaybird BlueBuds (an older model that look similar to the Jaybird x3). I love them. Very comfortable. They come with a variety of ear bud and fin sizes to fit almost anyone. Stay in while exercising and running. Pretty good battery life. The pair easily with my phone and then I can easily switch to my iPad. So I'd recommend the Jaybirds.
Before that I had Jabras and they were ok but then just stopped working after a year or so.
