I sure Do! I had an epidural injection yesterday. And omg then pressure today!!! I feel like I have a bowling ball attached to my low back/hips!! The injection site is real sore. Ice packs are my best friend! I came in to work late, and it hurts to sit for long periods, so I'll be up and down at my desk all day! Bad headache too, but think that's from the emotional melt down last night, that I don't think I'd had since my dad's funeral...still so raw Anyway, I'm whiny today and I don't care!? Anyone else? If you are, (((Hugs to you)))

Not a legitimate whine but here goes. There is a High School Show Choir here at my job on a nursing home type unit at a VA hospital. They showed up an hour early. They have been here about an hour. Only a few of the residents are even bothering to listen to them. Only the staff is in there. The guys are going to their therapies, riding away in their wheelchairs. That's the thing about visits like this. It kind of disrupts their therapies and their business they are going around doing. They are not like old folks sitting in a day room someplace waiting for lunch. It's a shame really because these groups feel so excited to come and the reception here consistently is luke warm at best. People think these folks are sitting around dying for someone to visit and are generally dismissive of any effort to tell them that our patient population doesn't really enjoy this type of thing.
Edited: They are still here - singing. Now they have a captive audience as all the residents are eating lunch.

I'm working on a sales tax return for CA for the first time using data from Amazon that is unwieldy. I entered all the data but I am out by $7 on one calculation and $10 on another so I have to go back to the beginning.

I've gotten nothing done this week. Nothing.
I sprained my ankle last Saturday and have had to stay off my feet since then. I've not been outside the house since then. I've not cooked a meal for my family or accomplished anything since then. The first day or two was a little bit of a break for me, and I enjoyed the extra time to read and play on my Kindle. Now I'm going stir crazy.
Tomorrow I'll be able to put a little weight on the ankle, so maybe I can be more mobile. And on the plus side, DH and the kids have been amazing. Still don't like the reason for it, though. Hmmph.
