I'm getting a new hip tomorrow and will be in the hospital for a couple days. I'm bringing my iPad and have downloaded Netflix on it. I need some recommendations as to some good shows. I'm watching Frankie and Grace with my husband so that is out. I do love documentaries. Anyone have any good shows to watch?

I watched “Murder Maps” on Netflix. It’s a series detailing some of London’s notorious serial killers in history. Pretty interesting!

Oh my, you will be soooo happy in a few days. I got a new hip a couple of years ago and woke up from surgery with no pain for the first time in two or three years, I am so excited for you. It will be wonderful! You will be up and moving soon...and NO PAIN.
I loved Doc Martin on Netflix.

These are my favorites on Netflix: White Collar, House of Cards, Death in Paradise, Parenthood, Royal Pains, Drop Dead Diva, Switched at Birth, and the Fosters I've just started Girlboss. Most of the time I want to wring the main character's neck but since it is loosely based on a true story, I'm intrigued how she made her millions.
Hope all goes well!

I watched a quirky documentary series called Last Chance to See. I found it both fascinating and funny.

The Fall Shameless The Crown Happy Valley (British cop series not movie) Border Security Good luck with the surgery. DH was scheduled for 2 nights in hospital and was released after just one. His only regret is that he kept putting it off and didn't do it sooner.

I too enjoy Grace and Frankie. I am sorry I don't have any other suggestions to add what the others have listed.
Go get 'em and make sure you let us know how everything goes tomorrow!

Gennifer papersilly scrappert Season 3 is good too! I'm watching live I'm making way through Heartland. Filmed in foothills of the Rocky Mountains in southern Alberta the scenery is half the reason for watching.

DH and I have been watching "Life in Pieces" - a refreshingly fun sitcom.
Also enjoying "Halt and Catch Fire" - a drama whose characters are involved in the early days of personal computers, online gaming and chat rooms. Something I knew nothing about and I've found it quite interesting.

I don't know if these are on Netflix, but we watched ON Demand during a girls' weekend -
Florence Foster Jenkins - bittersweet story but very good movie
Hidden Figures - Wow! Loved it!
Hope your surgery goes well - my husband had it done in January and he's glad he did it!
