Has anyone bought from aliexpress before? Did you have a good experience? The prices look to good to be true. It looks like you have to wait quite awhile to get the merchandise.

It has the same stuff as wish.com so I wonder if they are affiliated. Wish is all crap from China & takes months to get here. Sizing is super small on clothes.

It does say from China and shipping is months. I'm looking at the stitched dies. They are dirt cheap. I guess I can try for a few bucks to see if it's worth it.

There are several threads here about Aliexpress. Just do a search and you're sure to bring them up. Most peas have had great experiences!

I bought 2 dies from "cehuang Store" on Sunday, April 30. They shipped the next day after "verifying" my payment. I used my Bluebird prepaid card by American Express because that just felt safer to me. It showed up 13 days later. I thought that was pretty fast considering it was 2 weeks to a couple of months, if I recall. The best I can tell is that these are the same dies made in China for American and European companies because I recognize some of the dies. I ordered the "Sausage Dog" and the old fashioned treadle sewing machine but THEY called KNITTING machine! I have to have any Dachshund die that I can find and is affordable. This was my test order so I only ordered these two dies and couldn't find them anywhere else other than other Chinese stores on Aliexpress. They come in a clear tiny envelope with no picture or anything. That was ok becaue I just downloaded the samples they had to figure out the best way to put the dog together, the set has 9 dies so it isn't super simple to put together and the picture helped. After I got the die and was googling pictures to get more ideas on using the die, I suddenly found out who designed the die. Marianne Designs. The only difference was her Dachshund die is pink and mine is just steel color. Marianne Designs version comes with a package with a full color picture and a video on how to put together the dog and clothing. I feel bad but I did look before I ordered and couldn't find it. I've found only one store in the UK that I could buy it from. Anyway, I ordered and received it fast. I haven't ordered anything else. The last week, all my scrappy money is going to Karen Burniston's new company and Lawn Fawn.

I recently ordered some dies, enamel dots and stickers from Ali Express. My orders seem to be taking about 2 weeks to New Zealand and everything is tracked so you can follow a parcel's progress. I've been very happy with all the dies so far - apart from one set which are a little bit thinner but still ok they all seem to be the same thickness as others I have that are made in the USA. I was after some stitched shapes and just couldn't justify the cost of MFT or similar brands when I have a Cameo. I'll try to link the store I bought from. Here you go. It's called KLJUYP m.aliexpress.com/store/1381742

I have recently purchased a few things from there and have had no issues. Just keep in mind it does take a while to ship. I got a set of stitched clear stamps and I love them and they were less than 2 dollars, I would love to see their stitched dies if you can post a link jstblondie

I don't order from Aliee but I order from ebay which I think are same suppliers. Worth the wait for sure. Highly recommend ordering from there.

I have purchased a bunch of dies from AliExpress for the same reason you are looking - they are dirt cheap. I placed my first order at the end of January - I think I ordered 9 dies and all 9 cost what one would cost here! They all shipped immediately and the first one arrived quickly. I had it within just a few weeks, but the others were much slower, and in fact I just received the last one about 2 1/2 weeks ago. The quality of all of them is identical to the ones I buy from SSS. I also ordered some replacement bands for my Apple watch, but have not received them. I opened a dispute asking that the "purchase protection" be extended because I'm quite sure they are there way and I will eventually get them, but the seller refunded my money instead. I still haven't received them, but chances are they will show up when I've forgotten all about them. All in all, my buying experience with AliExpress has been great. Just don't order something you need right away because chances are you're going to be waiting a while for it to arrive.

I purchased some clear stamps, one is the Kaisercraft stitched circles and others were layered stamps by Studio Light. I did have to go online to find the stamping guide that would normally be packaged with the stamps. The only dies I haven't been totally happy with are the ones that cut and emboss together but that's just personal preference, they work just fine. Some of the embossing folders can be a bit thicker than usual but they work well. I've only had one stamp that was a 2nd but the pattern was distressed so I use it unmounted anyhow. The items are so cheap I can afford to take the gamble.

I read about the dies from China here a couple of weeks ago and ended up placing an ebay order (through 3 different vendors). I got a shipping notification within 10 minutes for one of them! But since I didn't set up an account to make the order, I've been having some issues with tracking the packages. I'm hoping to get them soon.
I haven't ordered from AliExpress yet, because I think I read somewhere that their buyer protection isn't as good as ebay. The prices also seem to be cheaper on ebay, but I seem to be in the minority with that opinion.
There are several groups on Facebook that discuss ordering dies from China, through both AliExpress and ebay. You might find the information there helpful too.

The buyer protection on Aliexpress is very good. I had one package in the about 20 I've ordered not arrived within the specified window; I got a complete refund. Later in the month, the package arrived but I was told to keep it.
I have only good things to say about ordering from Aliexpress. I will definitely do it again.

I have order about 20 dies maybe more from China, and have been very happy. It took awhile for shipping but the price is so worth the wait. I have brought a lot of dies over the years, and now I find some of them being sold there for a 1/4th of the price. So before I pay full price for a die, now I look there first. If there is a design I really want I will go ahead and buy it, but if I can get the same die from China why would I pay full price. I keep telling myself, I don't need any more but them someone has to create something new that I just can't live without. I also have a cricut, but I like metal dies the best. Happy shopping.

Another totally satisfied AliExpress customer here. As everyone says, just be prepared to wait a couple of weeks for delivery, but the merchandise I've gotten had been top notch!
