I have no idea what you do with Distress Oxide inks; but it hasn't stopped me from thinking I might need some. LOL. Really, how are they different from regular inks? Would a scrapper who mostly uses her inks to ink edges of paper and occasionally stamp have any need for them.? I should try and watch some Youtube videos and determine if they are something I would like to play with.

For me, if that is all I did with my inks, then I probably would be ok without them. But I like to do all sorts of crafty stuff, even if I have no real use for the end product. I truly enjoy the process of all sorts of techniques, and even simple stamping and coloring.
You should watch some video and see if what people are doing with them is something you would be interested in. But don't check out just the "big" name videos, check out some of the unknown, or lesser known people also.

Do you ever make your own backgrounds? Distress Oxide inks are really fun to use for that. They are so easy to use too. If you don't like to play with different types of techniques with them, you might not need them. I watched Jennifer McGuire's video on them when they first came out. My DD and I enjoy trying new techniques and these are fun for us.
