I need advice! I'm making my DD's wedding invitations, and she chose the folder style. What's the best adhesive to adhere the pocket flaps? It's textured cardstock, and I want to make sure they stay together. TIA!

Tombow Mono Multi with the green cap. It has a tiny little tip on one end so you can get a very fine glue line with it. I've been using it for over 20 years and nothing EVER comes apart.

Thanks for the great advice. I ended up using the Tombow green cap adhesive, and it is fabulous! Now I have another question - what's a great adhesive to attach vellum to cardstock? I'm still working on invitations......

I loved the vellum dots that Scotch (I think it was Scotch) use to have. But they are no longer produced. I found a few several years ago and bought up what I could find. I'm hoarding those since I haven't found anything else that is truly invisible.
I have been using other ways to attach vellum - brads, sewing on, covering glue with a flower or other embellishment, or the one I have been using a lot lately - ribbon corners and slip the vellum behind the ribbon. It takes a little longer to do it, but I like the look.

I was watching a video the other night and the gentleman making the cards used Stick-It adhesive sheets under large vellum pieces. I couldn't see the cards up close, but he was really happy with the results. Here's a link if you want to watch (I think it was the 3rd & 4th card he made or the 4th & 5th): www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pq4BJw0lyo

I bought a tube of Craftet's Companion "Vellum Bond" at the last Scrapbook Expo and have to say it works great...comes out as a white liquid glue but if you use just a small amount as per directions on the tube it really is nearly invisible. $6.99 for a 50ml tube.
