This challenge is for those who scrap slowly and need encouragement to keep scrapping all month or those who want a little encouragement to continue scrapping. It is great for those new to Challenges and is a fun place to come chat with other Pokey scrappers. 1. Post a layout each week, or four layouts per month. These can be posted in the thread or in the gallery. If you post in the gallery, be sure to come to the thread and tell us you posted and tell us the name of the layout so we can find it. You can copy the URL from the gallery and paste it directly into your thread for a link. 2. This challenge can be combined with any other challenges and can be paper, digital or hybrid scrapping. These can be cards, layouts or altered items or any other creative projects. 3. Please comment on the work of others on the thread as your time allows. We all love comments on our layouts. 4. Have fun with this! This should be a "no pressure" challenge. Just post what you finish whether it is one layout or more than four. Come chat with the group as time permits. We love to welcome new members . There are no prizes for this challenge, just a chance to enjoy the works of other Pokey Peas Refugees. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

It seems like the last two months slipped right by me. I am anxious to get into my scraproom and get some pages done. Keep posting all your pages. I can't imagine keeping up with a photo a day, grammadee, but I think I will try it and see how far I get. Waving to all you wonderful Pokeys!

Glad you decided to join the photo party, nylene. No pressure. Just get whatever photos you can, and check in to the photo a day thread to let us know about them! I posted one today because we will be travelling Thursday through Monday, and while I can get on this board and comment, etc, I have never learned how to upload a photo directly from my phone, so I will be TAKING pics over the time we are gone, I won't be posting any until probably Tuesday. I am a bad host Thanks for setting up this new thread. I hope that you will be feeling better and better each day and that your energy will return this month. It seems like you will NEED that energy for Cousin Camp. Have you made the foxy cards, yet? Would love to see them! I am spending the last day of May doing nitpicky things: I have cleaned out my vehicle. Still need to put away some of the stuff that came into the house. Finishing the laundry, and plan to put away the clothes today so packing clothes in the morning will not be so time consuming. We want to leave by about 9:30AM. Need to wrap a gift, and then put that and the album into the vehicle. Getting my kitchen counter cleaned off so dd (she & her little family will be house sitting here over the weekend) can find the utensils and other things she will need. Hope everyone's May is wrapping up on a positive note, and wishing you all a Happy June!

grammadee, the only way I know how to post a photo here is to print it and then scan it. I'm sure there's a way to upload it from my computer, but I have no idea. I know I can't get photos sent out to be printed fast enough to keep up. Can you tell me how to upload the photo from a computer?

nylene the way I add photos to Flickr on my computer is to click on the little cloud arrow icon on the top right. Then I click "Choose photos and videos to upload." Then I go into my photos folder and select the photo or photos I want to upload. Then click open. Then you can add photos and groups and tags on the left. Then click "Upload 1 photo".

I know I can't get photos sent out to be printed fast enough to keep up. Can you tell me how to upload the photo from a computer? What I do is save my photo to my computer. I have a camera card reader I can put my camera card into and then plug into the USB port to upload to my computer, but I have done it by attaching the camera directly to the computer with a cord. If I take a pic with my phone, I email it to myself and then save the photo into a file in the computer, too. I have set up a file for June Pix and all the challenge shots will go in there. When you want to attach a photo from your computer, just click on REPLY instead of the "Quick Reply" button. At the top right of the panel there will be an "Add Attachments" button. Press that. A pop up screen will give you an option to find attachments. When you have selected your photo, just press "done". Of course once your photo is a file on your computer, you can upload it to Flickr just like you do your scanned pages and cards. Just a note about SIZE of photo. When I use the pics from my phone, they always fit within the size limits. With photos from my camera, I often have to resize to something less than 12x12 or I can't attach them. Hope this helps. Looking forward to seeing your photos.

If you have windows you can use One Drive, they give you so many GB free space and you can save your photo to your phone or save it to One Drive on your phone . Then when you get on your computer you can go to one drive and open your photo and then move it to where you want it and then you don't get charged any fee because your One Drive is not full You can also save it to photos in the Google group of products and do the same way

There is a flickr app for your smart phone that you can download. Then set it up to automatically send your photos to your account. I send them all in private mode. Then go on flickr, either on the phone or computer and edit the photos I want to be public or friends & family and add to my album and the 2peas group. It's made my life so much easier! I highly recommend it.

Were you able to figure it out nylene ? For all my technology questions, I usually ask a child. They usually know the answer. Well, after spending too much of my time this past weekend editing and sizing my 2011 photos, I was finally able to put my order in. The order had a handful of current year photos, but this is nuts. It included eleven 5x7s and, get this, 245 4x6s. I think I'll be set for a long time! And, I learned a little more about the collage feature at PicMonkey. I already knew how to fit two 3x4s together, but I also fit a 4x4 with 2x4 digital paper, and two 3x3s with 1x6 digital paper. And I added journaling to a few photos too. It looks like the weather forecast has some rainy days for me later this week, so I just might get the chance to stay in and play! I'm going to take a walk after I drop off DD at school, so hopefully I'll come back with a daily photo to post. Thanks again for the challenge grammadee !

Happy JUNE, everyone! You really made your scrafting weekend count, maribeth! I left love for you pages in Flickr. I really like how they are all so different! msliz, you will be busy with all those photos to scrap! Hope you get the time to play with them. Hope you get the uploading photos figured out, nylene. And thanks for the info about the Flickr app, LisaDV. I will check into that. Not sure if I will get it downloaded and figure out how to use it in time to post any photos THIS weekend, but we have a weekend away later in the month, and that would be awesome. Have never figured out how to upload from my phone. Glad so many Pokeys are playing along with the Photo A Day challenge. It will be fun to see everyone's pic's no matter how they are uploaded--or when! Looking forward to any creations you come up with over the weekend, too. Nothing from me until next week at the earliest. We are almost ready for our trip to Calgary. Clothes and gifts are packed. Dishwasher is running. Plants have been moved into the garage and watered so they will survive until dd gets here Friday evening. Dh had to go into town for blood work this morning. It was a fasting test, so he will need to eat before he comes home. By then we will just need to put everything into the vehicle and we will be ready to leave. I washed the suv on Tuesday, in prep for driving in the city, but wouldn't you know it is now raining, so it will be a mess again before I get very far on these country roads this morning! Guess those city mice are going to have to just deal with us country mice and how we look when we get there!

Your pages are so fun, maribeth . It must be a welcome change of pace to be scrapping your personal pages instead of the historical pages. You have so much more creative freedom with personal pages. I'm glad you had a great time creating so much! Have a great trip, grammadee!

Thank you everyone for the ideas on posting a photo. Part of my problem is that I don't have a smart phone, but just a point and shoot camera. I do have an iPad, but haven't used the camera yet. Will have to figure that out. I think by reading through all your posts I can figure out how to post, but it may take a couple of days of trying. If all else fails, I will take msliz 's advice and ask one of my granddaughters! Boy, you will have lots of photos ready for scrapping. I need to get mine all printed. My DD uses Picmonkey, but I haven't tried it. I'll look into it. grammadee, have a great trip and be careful! maribeth , great pages. They look like the kind I love doing, but I couldn't do that many in a weekend! You are not a very Pokey Pea! LisaDV , the Flicker app sounds like a good way to do it. I have resisted a Smart Phone for several years. I just really do not want to be tied to a phone...and I'd probably lose it like I did my flip phone. scrapincin , since I don't have a camera phone, if I have a hard time, I'll give you a holler. You've helped me out of computer messes more than once. What would I do without you? I am trying to get things done in the house today. Things seem to get dustier when I am sick...wonder why that is. I worked on my scraproom last night and it's getting back into shape. Waving hello to kellyr21 . Hope you are doing something creative today. I agree that I can't believe you are 50...but I also think my kids are all still in their 30's. LOL (Well, the youngest is!) Everyone looks young to me!

grammadee - thank you for all the love left in the gallery for my pages msliz - yes I do have fun doing something different, but then I yearn to make more historic pages as well. nylene - I am TOO Pokey for my tastes. I wish I could do that many each and everyday of my life - if I could just RETIRE (LOL) Have a great remainder of your Thursday.

Thanks, maribeth . That is Sammie's birthday card. I just added the Cousin Camp invitation by posting it in Flicker first. (thanks, justjac). I think I can figure out how to save my photos in a file and send them to Flicker. I was struggling with trying to get the right size. I'm off to look at your layouts up close, maribeth .

Happy Thursday! Looks like I've been missing all the fun here! Happy to see June is getting off to a bang here. Thanks for all the birthday well wishes. I did have a very good time. I still have a few birthday freebee to redeem until next week so my celebration continues. LOL! Craft wise, I've been painting and have some cards to continue. I finished most of my deep house cleaning so it feel nice to be able to relax and just play this week. grammadee- What a fun photo challenge! I may jump in which will be great for me to practice using my new camera. nylene- You did it! I knew you could. What a cute card too. Your dgd is gonna love it. scrapincin- Good luck to your Cavs tonight. Should be an exciting series.

msliz , asking a child about technology is usually the best bet for sure. And that's awesome about picmonkey collage. I just started making my own 4x6 templates in PSE to do the same sort of thing, but never thought to add digital papers to them!?! That's brilliant! So using that next time I edit. I hope it rains, so you can play. maribeth , great pages. I will definitely get to the gallery later to leave you some love. I'm adoring your pumpkin carvings. grammadee , I hope you have an easy drive and a great trip. It always rains after you wash your car, you know that. I'm paying ds to wash mine, but maybe I'll hold off until Monday. He wants to go fishing tomorrow and I don't want it to rain on him. nylene , love your cousin camp card. You asked if I had molds for my hearts on my Day outing layout. I cut hearts out of a manilla folder with my silhouette, place the stencil over wax paper and apply the texture paste. Lift your stencil and let your paste dry. You can then lift off and glue them to other projects. kellyr21 , it's always so nice to have a clean home. My problem is that it never stays that way. Glad you can now enjoy some fun crafty time now. justjac , I've seen some more pages pop up in flickr from you, I hope to get to those later too. Yesterday was a FULL day of errands and then gardening/mowing. I didn't sit down to eat dinner until 8:45pm. Today, I'm moving slow. It's already 8:30am and I'm still sitting at the computer. We got our asparagus crowns yesterday, Don order 100 of them! We do like asparagus, but I think he went a bit overboard. So that's what is on our agenda today. We'll see what else gets accomplished. Off to visit the rest of the board so I can get my day started.

Arrived safely. Roads were good and not too much traffic. Got to watch the 5 year old play Tee-ball. He's so cute: his two older brothers play on rep teams, so he is one of the few little guys who really GET the game.
Busy day today. Need to take the little guys to pre K, then the grad ceremony is this afternoon. Saw the grad and his gf for a brief while just when we got here, but the older kids are at their mom's this weekend. They are so busy with all the planned activities, their friends, and with dgs having two families to share his time, and of course her family commitments. They did promise I would get some camera time this weekend. Not sure when I will get a chance to give him his gift.
Have a fantastic Friday, Pokeys!

Hi ladies - I can't take credit for the pumpkin carvings, those were done by my granddaughter's and daughter-in-law.
Having a super busy day at work, so I have to flee - I am home alone (at the office) today.

LisaDV, thanks for the info about the molds. I learn new techniques here every day. You sound like such a busy momma. I know that your family appreciates all your work. grammadee, glad you arrived safely. Have a great visit. kellyr21, do you hire out for deep cleaning? It seems like it needs to be done over and over and over..... Love the photo you posted of your happy place. Mine is too messy right now to take a photo. Maybe in a few days. I have been scrapping! maribeth, I was giving you credit for those carvings too! Hope the day goes well at work. Is busy better than hunting something to do? msliz, have your eyes returned to normal. What program do you use for editing? Have a great day! I need to accomplish something outside my scraproom.

Thanks nylene, thankfully, all I needed was a good night's sleep. And I use a site called Pic Monkey. It's great for novices like me! Well, I spent most of my day running errands, but that meant that I was driving right by M's, J's, HL, and ACM. I was pretty good, I think. Just an album at M's, craft paint at ACM, two 6x6 pads at J's ($2.50 each), and nothing at HL. I actually walked out without buying anything! I picked up my mega photo order too, but tomorrow I have to help DH plant some more grass in our pathetic lawn. So hopefully I'll get to play on Sunday. Have a great weekend everyone!

Good evening Peas! Here we are the beginning of another weekend! I worked on the patio all day as the last time I did it I did not like the way I had it. @ Nylene I am so glad you got your photos posted! I figured the instructions you got were good so I would wait before I would offer my 2 cents worth! Everyone is taking part and it is fun to see what everyone is doing! I posted mine in the thread and the gallery so not posting it here. Nylene I have to say Steve's workshop is great! He has so many tools and they are so organized ! No wonder he likes that so well. maribeth I am working on your layouts individually-just so many interruptions here. kellyr21 I am loving your photo for the day also. watched the first 3 quarters of the game and it was painful! Hoping they do better Sunday night grammadee that sweet photo of you I love it! msliz I want to thank you for checking out the thread and my layouts LisaDV You are handling your shopping and other special errands so well. Our trip is over half done. The grad ceremony was beautiful, yesterday. We got some quick family pics of our grad alone, with his gf, and with family. Today we watched our ddil barrel racing, then came back to the house. The grad dropped in, so got to give him his gift. He LOVED his album. Sat here and read the journaling on every page, talked about the memories.
Later our other son dropped in with his family for supper. The 4 little guys had a blast playing together and tried to arrange an impromptu sleep over. We are all meeting again for brunch tomorrow. Then we will be back home in time to get ready for the grad banquet. The grads will all be in their best prom wear. So hoping for some great photos!
Anyway, I am exhausted, so signing off now!

Happy Sunday to all!! It is a happy Sunday for me. Don and ds14 have gone off to early service and then plan to go fishing for the day, and dd is sleeping. So I have some free time. Hurray! Also, I'm NOT working in the yard/garden today. Hurray! Another Hurray is that we are pretty much done with the planting. I still have some marigolds to plant around the garden and already need to start weeding, but that'll wait to tomorrow. We are still waiting for the ramps and sunchokes and (can't remember). We put in 100 asparagus plants, an almond tree, and the garden. I still wish I had a couple of delicata squash, and if I find them, I will put those in. I also have a few planters that I place in front of my porch which are for flowers and herbs left to plant. I'm also letting dd put in a fairy garden in on. It'll throw off my symmetrical look and will probably irk my nerves a bit, but the happiness it'll give her more than justifies it. My last Hurray for the day, is I'll be spending the day with dd. Here's me wishing all of the Pokey's lots of Hurray's for your Sunday!

I hope you have a fantastic day with DD, LisaDV !!! I'm just going with the flow today, trying to help everyone else with their projects. But If I get some time later, I'm going to sort through my photo order. They're all still sitting in a huge stack on my table. Where are the rest of the Pokeys today? Are you out making memories, or are you scrapping them?
