I have bought some of the Roc products (Roc Serum, Moisturizer, Chest Neck and Face Moisturizer with SPF). But on one of the skincare threads, some peas mentioned they like Oil of Olay. I admit I am not a consistent user of skincare products, and if I would just use one consistently, maybe that's the most important thing to do. But I am running low on the ROC, so thought I may try Oil of Olay next. If you use Oil of Olay, which products do you recommend? I thought perhaps the serum and a moisturizer? I saw that at our Walmart, they have some trial sizes of these products, and although it gets expensive, as much as we travel it would save room in my suitcase! Any recommendations? I think Oh Yvonne was one that liked Oil of Olay, but I haven't figured out how to tag peas in a post!

I love the regenerist 3 point moisturiser and 3-point serum. I was using Etsee Lauder advanced night repair serum (spendy!)but to be honest, I didn't finish it and went back to the Olay 3 point serum as I felt it was better for my skin. I buy from Amazon or eBay and have found it very inexpensive. Every other night I use alpha h liquid gold , So that night I dont use moisturiser and I use Ultrasun factor 50 every day without fail, often with Olay on top once it's properly dried on my skin. I'm 57 next week by the way.

I'm going to direct you away. I have tried all kinds of skincare, both department store and drugstore brands. The best moisturizer I have ever used is Cerave cream. It's about 15 dollars for a 16 ounce jar. They also have a facial sunscreen that works really well as a moisturizer.

I only use the moisturizer with sunscreen. I get a facial 2-3 times a year and every person says I have great skin and they are amazed at my lack of products and skin care

It was under $10 on Amazon.

I think I may have read that Cerave has hydraulonic acid (I probably spelled it completely wrong!) which I heard was good. Thanks for the recommendation!

I won't be repurchasing now I have found this new range: 'the ordinary' is a new range of serums that is very reasonably priced that you can use to layer - I like the retinol, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, vitamin c and matrixyl. They are in very plain packaging and about £5 each, last ages.its produced by Diciem/NIOD who sell the same serums under that umbrella at much higher prices.

But over the winter I was at a friends house and my face felt really dry so I used some of her moisturizer and it was Cerave cream. I love it. And, it's fragrance free! You can get the ginormous tub at Costco. DH even uses it. The only thing I don't like about it is that I would prefer it to be a pump or a squeeze tube.

I use the microsculpting serum and cream, both at night on top of my Retin A.

I think I'm the one who suggested the serum. I use Olay Regenerist cream cleanser. I use the Regenerist moisturizer with SPF for day and the microsculpting cream and moisturizing serum for night.
I've tried other, more expensive skincare, including vitamin C serum, but I always come back to Olay.

Every once in a while I try something else but always come back to Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream Face Moisturizer. My grandma used Oil of Olay face lotion her entire life and had wrinkle free, super smooth skin that I've ever seen for her age. I think it helps my skin look a lot younger than it is.

I use the Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting serum. That's pretty much the only skin treatment I ever use. Morning and night, after a gentle cleansing, on face, around eyes, on neck. It seems to be preserving my skin condition just fine given my age and health issues. I only need more moisture for about a month or so during the middle of winter, and then I use a moisturizing mask 2-3 times a week.
It's a bit pricey for a drugstore product, but I only need three pumps at a time, so a bottle lasts a while.
I used to use the Burt's Bees anti-aging line, but it started irritating my skin. I read very good things about the Olay product and gave it a try. It doesn't irritate my skin, and seems to make a difference.

I have used the sensitive skin moisturizer with SPF every day since I was 15 years old. The last time I got a facial the girl told me I had skin that looked ten years younger than most people my age, I'll be 29 next week. I know I'm still young, but I will do anything to keep the youthful look of my skin short of needles and surgery.

I've been using Olay Complete All Day UV Moisturizer, SPF 15, for years. It never feels greasy or heavy on my sensitive skin. I love it.

Do yall get as overwhelmed with all this as I do? SO. MANY. OPTIONS. Vitamins, acids, retinols, etc..... This thread reminded me of a website, I want to say it was Oil of Olay but I checked their site and can't find what I'm thinking of. Anyway, it's like a skin quiz...you answer several questions about your skin type and what issues you want to work on - acne, dark spots, wrinkles, dry skin, etc. and it will "customize" a skin care routine for you, of course using all their products, but still, it would be very useful to see what they recommend, then find comparable products in your desired brand. Does anyone know of such a beast in existence these days? I don't want to go to a makeup counter in the mall or a big store, as whatever brand they are pushing will OF COURSE be the exact thing my skin has always needed, and I don't want the pressure ( or having to talk to a 20 year old about my crows feet and her just, "like, totally getting where I'm coming from, grrrllll!" Edit: well I just found it, it's on the Loreal website! But in searching, came across approximately a quarter of a gazillion others that I may try. Off to the rabbit hole I go....check on me in a little while...if I don't come back, send help!

She give good suggestions on types of products to use.

Whatever cream you use, everyone needs to add retinol in my opinion!! Fountain of youth in a tube. I saw a retinol on the beautypedia link above from Paula's Choice. I will try that with a cerave moisturizer on top! Our insurance won't pay for a prescription, and I hear it's expensive, so I hope the Paula's Choice works!

I got mine when my husband was outbof the country--places like Spain, Phillipines, Mexico, etc, it's over the counter and cheap! Like $10-15 a tube.
