Besides beer or wine, what drink do you enjoy in the evening? I love a margarita, but that's a poolside drink to me. Looking for a few new recipes to try.

Lemon Drop Martini
Bloody Mary
Those are my two absolute favorite cocktails. There's always Bailey's Irish Cream in coffee; always good!

Gin & tonic with extra lime wedges
Gin gimlet
Silver tequila on ice (I let the ice melt for a while and sip on it)
The "Flirtini" made famous by Sex and the City - vodka, pineapple juice and champagne

I love a good Old Fashioned or a Classic Manhattan in the evenings if we're sitting around talking. I don't do super sweet.

My fav drink is vodka and lemonade but, to me, that's more of an out-with-friends drink. In the evening, relaxing at home, I like sippy kinds of drinks like a White Russian or Bailey's over ice.

Gin and tonic - I make mine in a tall glass with diet tonic water, one shot of good gin, a dash of bitters, and extra lime.
I also like Ocean Spray sparkling diet cranberry juice with vodka.

I don't drink them often, but I love Moscow Mules in a copper mug. My all time favorite drink.
Vodka, ginger beer (NOT ginger ale) and lime, and I like mine with some muddled mint. So refreshing, and with the ice and copper mug it's super cold.

I LOVE Baileys! Problem is, I drink it like it's an innocent little milkshake or something!  I also like bourbon sour Used to like Black Russian, but haven't had that in a long time - maybe I should try it again?   |

Gin & tonic, margarita, espresso or chilli & passion fruit martini, caipirinha, Hemmingway daiquiri, single malt whisky, frangelico, brandy, amaretto. Not all on the same evening. I will drink other stuff, and love wine and beer too, but those are my favourites  Take a look at my blog to find out what I've been up to |

I love tequila sunrises... shot of tequila.. fill glass with oj.. dash of grenadine... or just a screwdriver vodka n oj... I guess cuz those are easy n not a lot of ingredients... we always have oj

Extra dirty vodka martini with olives or Bloody Mary. I also enjoy Bailey's on the rocks, but that's more of a fall/winter drink for me.

Mojito's are my very favorite. I usually cheat and use Simply Limeaide, rum and mint. Dh makes a mean margarita too. Gin and tonic with extra lime is a another good one, especially when it's hot.

I mainly drink wine, otherwise I prefer flavored vodka and water. or coffee and Bailey's if I need a pick-me-up.
Bloody Mary or Mimosa for brunch.

Vodka and whatever juice is on hand, preferably grapefruit or cranberry. That way it's nutritious as well as relaxing.  Moscow mule, kir royale, yum! I just watched an old Good Eats episode where Alton Brown made his own Bloody Mary mix and an original version of the Margarita (more of a martini style). They both looked really good. |

But other choices for me might be a dirty martini, Amarula cream, or just a really quality bourbon over "whiskey stones."

I like Diet Dr Pepper and Jack Daniels. Friends visited and introduced it to us-so good. Tastes like candy to me and yet I don't drink pop any other time so it makes no sense. I am not a Vodka girl and don't do slot of sugar so sweet drinks are not on my menu anymore.

A bit of an embarrassing secret is that I do enjoy the occasssional glass of Sherry!  And Port. Oh, and a good cold remedy (for the symptoms, not the cold!) is port and brandy - Dad swears by it! |

I really only drink martinis and scotch, apart from beer and winr. Gin martinis with Bombay Sapphire or Hendrick's Gin, or Macallan 12-year scotch.
My husband drinks gin and tonic or gimlets. Sometimes sweet tea vodka.
