I admit, there were times I wasn't sure this would happen. Things for him in school haven't always been smooth. But he pushed through in the end and did it and we are so proud!

I always feel like if an 18 year old doesn't know what they want to do for the rest of their life, then take some time to work and figure it out. It's asking a lot for a young adult to decide that when they are just figuring out who they are and what they like. Good luck to him!

Congratulations! I understand what it takes to get one through when it's a struggle. Mine also just graduated, and ugh... the last couple of months were a question mark... he just had no drive to complete the work. And a few days ago, he asked me to help him enroll in our local community college! So maybe he realizes he is more than capable and should keep going

Congratulations! Quite a few of us have had (or will have) kids graduate this year. My younger one graduated 5/17, and we had a rough couple years in high school with her. Senior year was better, but still bumpy. I sure wish they came with a fool proof manual!
