Hi all. I'm new to the boards and am very upset and needed some help from seasoned crafters. I just ordered over $100 worth of items from katscrappiness.com (my first order from them). I just received my package today and they failed to include two items. I'm starting to think they're as sketchy as their website looks. Does anyone have any experience with them? Should I be worried? What should I do? Wow. I am kind of furious at the moment. I already contacted them about the missing items, but apparently they're on vacation right now. (Sigh) Do they have good customer service? I know I'm just a nobody ordering things and not as lucky as other famous crafters...but dang. Wow. I'm so unlucky.
I'm sorry if this brings negativity to the board but I'm new at crafting and the amount of money I just spent...wow. Just...wow.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. I'm sure she will rectify the issue as soon as she returns.

I ordered from them before and there were no problems. Just email them so they can take care of the issue when they return. Disappointing they're closed for a couple of weeks. I'm sure you were looking forward to playing with your new goodies.

That's too bad you didn't have a good experience. I've ordered from her before, and had great service. I wouldn't worry that she won't make it right, but I understand your frustration with them being shut down for 2 weeks. I hope it works out for you.

Thank you all I feel a bit better from your replies and reassurance. I suppose I just happened to be the "lucky" one. I also ordered the Pray(er/s/ing) sentiment stamp set for making cards at my church, so I can distract myself until I hear back from them. It's really too bad that they're the only store in the US that sells the Dekoru glass drops (from my limited knowledge) and I was looking forward to making faux glass windows (thanks to watching Olga on YouTube), but alas, that will have to wait until after they come back. Again thanks for the insight and reassurance.

Sorry your order got messed up. I've ordered from her several times and always recommend her store. She has good prices and I don't think the shipping is outrageous. And she ships really fast. The one time I did have an issue, she was on it to make it right.

I was attracted to the Dekoru glass drops and then before I knew it I invested in a couple of stamps and dies as well as sequins because of the lower prices. The dollars saved from buying from them through price cuts and free shipping was too good to be true. I just wish I had as great of an experience as all of you. I was only looking for feedback from crafters who know their way around online craft stores and can offer some advice but I am surprised to know she is a member of this forum. No sense in sending tons of letters to her while she's on vacation since I've already made my issues clear to the company through emailing.

Not to be hand slappy, but it would be nice if you'd update your thread title since the owner responded to you and offered a resolution.
And I don't think missing a couple items equates to negligence on the business owners part, just my opinion.

I do a lot of online shopping and have seen some pretty sketchy e-commerce sites, and theirs is not.
