I'm tired of pink in every collection that isn't specifically boy-themed. For travel themes/collections, so sick of "all who wander are not lost." Tired of the camper/glamper icons in travel or outdoors (we tent camp). The red vehicle (truck or car) with the tree on top for Christmas lines has been way overdone now. Plus, I have a fake tree so that is unusable for me. Coffee - I don't drink it. I'm tired of the overuse of florals in papers and ephemera packs. I DO drink coffee and I still can't figure out why I need a zillion coffee stickers and stamps. I documented when I got my keurig. Bam, done documenting coffee! I drink a cup in the morning. It's not that interesting.

There are 180-185 days in the school year, every line doesn't need "first day of school" in it. Actually, if there was a 'last day of school' at least it would be good for those first/last comparison photos...
My boys don't skateboard, play basketball or listen to cassette tapes... also while I have two boys, I also have two girls, so something with 'siblings' instead of oh, brother or brothers, would be nice.
Not overused, but underused: What about letter sticker sheets with more than one 0,1 and 2 in it... So I could spell out 2000,2001,2002,2003,2004,2005,2006,2007,2008,2009,2010,2011,2012 (all of which had double numbers)

Not every Travel collection needs an Eiffel Tower, not even every 'transatlantic' collection. And European travel collections don't all need to be shades of brown and aimed to ancient buildings - there are some very modern buildings over here, and places that need color when you scrap them.
I also don't like gender based collections above baby aged - and I don't even scrap kids anymore. Not all girls are pink and glitter and not all boys are muddy. As for cassette tapes for teenage boys - when was the last time anyone used a cassette tape? Doesn't everyone just download onto their phone these days?

Ampersands! I can't believe I forgot about them until reading through some responses. In approximately 10 years of scrapping I have used precisely 1 ampersand. Why does every sticker sheet need them?! I also agree with the poster that mentioned the retro campers that are prevalent in so many outdoor lines. I like those lines for scrapbooking day at the lake and outdoorsy photos but I don't camp and if I did it wouldn't be in a retro camper.
In fact, I'm going to extend my hatred of vintage campers to all vintage icons. The surfer mobiles on beach lines, all of the lines with retro imagery and people (looking at you Graphic 45 and Authentique). My photos are taken in modern times, they are bright and colorful. I cannot bring myself to use a drawing of a 1940s woman in a swimsuit on my modern beach page where everyone is dressed in jeans and flip flops and holding a smart phone. It just doesn't work for me.

* Retro campers/glam campers * best day ever * random animals (like AT's tiger that christinec68 mentioned) I don't mind it being like 1 random animal in one embellishment package, as someone might need it, but not in every one!!!) * Coffee sayings and coffee cups. I don't drink coffee, and while I do occasionally drink tea, if I choose to document it would be a maximum of 2 pages: one what type of tea I like; two my favorite tea holder. I don't need enough of these products to create 2 zillion layouts. * diamonds and any saying related * ampersands * Overly large words. I can use that "beautiful", "pretty", "cool", "home", "captured", but I want it as an accent not as a focal point. I already have my focal point. I'm keeping pink, too!

Palm Trees and Surf Boards. I live in Minnesota. No palm trees and no surfing. But I do love Flamingos even though we don't have those either.

My first thought was "best day ever." I am beyond sick of this. "Happy" is a close second. I have depression, so I don't throw around that word much.
Also, I am not a fan of "I love you to the moon and back." I'm sure I'm in the minority on this.
I would love to see more words for an average day. I scrap the negative and mundane along with the positive.

Lots that have been mentioned already, especially some of those phrases - hello, best day ever, and the like. Forest and safari animals are up there at the top of the list as well.

"You are my sunshine" is another phrase whose time has passed, at least in my opinion.

"You are my sunshine" is another phrase whose time has passed, at least in my opinion. That's too funny. I made a layout a couple of weeks ago that I titled "You make me happy when skies are grey" and I created the title on my silhouette. I searched high and low for a complementary "you are my sunshine" premade embellishment and couldn't find a single one!

I have the vellum die cuts with the HUGE giraffe in it. My husband LOVES hippos, but my animals of choice seem to constantly change. Right now, my faves are elephants and giraffes...there was a bronze giraffe statue at the Houston Zoo when we went in April and I made sure to take a picture with it so I could that piece.

See you needed one, not FIVE. Glad you got a chance to use it. Giraffes were my ds's favorite animal when he was a toddler so I could totally use 1. Oh, my exception was the hummingbird. I bought the digital version of the embellishments from that line just to be able to print and cut it at different sizes. I love hummingbirds.

This is definitely at the top of my list! You can scramble those letters to get betrayed or sedated. No rule with cutting apart those letters to get a more creative title. Snipers, penis and epic can all be found in princess. Just saying.

I agree about the "Star Student" also the "I love school" stuff is not that useful to me because my kid loves the social aspect of school but the studying part not so much. And I've been complaining about "Hello" since I bought my first PL kit and most of the cards had that on it, you would have to put Hello on almost every page which would look ridiculous.

I commented this morning, but the more I think about it (and given my general grumpiness the last week or two) I am so tired of the cheerful words! Live, Love, Laugh. What about 'Some days you laugh, some days you cry'? or 'Not happening' 'Not today' 'Breaking point' 'Leave me alone'? I don't want to believe. I want to pout and bitch. Love it? No. 'Hate it'. 'Hate this'. What about some feminist papers and phrases? What about something a bit political or a political line that has journaling cards, a donkey and an elephant, etc.? Options for people who do Project Life or want to scrap elections and protests and rallies and current events? Not everything is The Stepford Wives.

I'm tired of manufacturers assuming that only boys skateboard, like super heroes, play guitar, like robots/techie stuff, and play sports. My dd plays guitar and was in a punk show last year. I had to be very creative for that layout, although I have to admit, it was fun to do. It may be cute and appropriate when the manufacturers have baby boy and girl-themed products, but when the kids are older, it's not. I find myself using older "boy" lines and products for both my son's and my daughter's layouts and cards. And I SO agree with what some of you were saying about the school and sports lines being geared towards the "stars" and "super achievers." A little dash of "You can do it," or "Next year will be better," or "I believe in you" would be useful and refreshing. I was just going to write "I'm tired of manufacturers decreeing which gender may be associated w/which icons". Same, here riversong1963 - DD who loves to be active, play minecraft, etc. I don't appreciate having to buy themes w/the words "boy" and "dude" etc. plastered all over them just to get something that goes w/her personality. Manufacturers, STFU and make the designs and let US decide which kids they go w. ETA - I bet I've thrown away dozens of "Best Day Ever" cards and stickers. I would have used "A Good Day" scores of times if any collection would deign to allow us to have "good days" instead of 3000 "Best Day Ever"s.

"I'm tired of manufacturers decreeing which gender may be associated w/which icons". Yes! My dd2 plays video games (and is wicked good at them too), build robots and lego masterpieces, tinkers in coding, is extremely active. How about a line that is greens, purples, blues, reds, and yellows that has words like "daughter," "she rocks," "her style"? I would have used "A Good Day" scores of times if any collection would deign to allow us to have "good days" instead of 3000 "Best Day Ever"s. So much this!

I'm with you all... the school stuff that says my kids loves school and is an A+++ student. How about, he showed up, hung out with friends and got C's 😂 and why does most of it still look like only little kids go to school? My senior son isn't a cutesy type of kid...
Cartoon like camping stuff- no! I want realistic tent camping, fire pit, fishing, outdoors stuff.
And my DD is not a princess either... since she was like 4. At 16, that crap doesn't fly. I think the designers forget that the little kids grow up, and that their parents still scrapbook as they grow.

Pink definitely- need more blue Also agree about the boy lines, school lines and sports lines- I end up not buying much of them. I just what a line with boyish colors and everyday sayings. All boy lines are mostly theme based.
