I'm with you all... the school stuff that says my kids loves sc hool and is an A+++ student. How about, he showed up, hung out with friends and got C's 😂 and why does most of it still look like only little kids go to school? My senior son isn't a cutesy type of kid... Cartoon like camping stuff- no! I want realistic tent camping, fire pit, fishing, outdoors stuff. And my DD is not a princess either... since she was like 4. At 16, that crap doesn't fly. I think the designers forget that the little kids grow up, and that their parents still scrapbook as they grow. I lucked out and had two boys who liked school AND I can't use all of that stuff. Too much. Too much. The sentiments do match much of what is posted on FB and other forms of social media, so I will say companies are doing what sells. I would love to find super sarcastic titles, but there wouldn't be the market for them like the positive words. Companies wouldn't make the $. Glad I have several electronic cutting machines.

Pink definitely- need more blue Also agree about the boy lines, school lines and sports lines- I end up not buying much of them. I just what a line with boyish colors and everyday sayings. All boy lines are mostly theme based. Yes! It drives me crazy. It almost always has to be a themed based line to find something without pink. And I stand corrected. The Shark pack of paper does have pink in it. Thankfully the female in the picture is wearing pink while they paddle board.

Pink, watercolors, gold, brush script, and floral die cuts. I prefer masculine lines that aren't too themed specific. I don't have gamers, golfers, tie wearing, mustached men in my life.

i don't mean to sound curmudgeonly but i'm really tired of all the positive affirmations. there are only so many "let your light shine" or "be true to you" or whatever pages i'm ever going to make. i actually prefer best day ever because i can use it more easily. most animals i'm ok with, although again, i don't need them on the paper, the embellies and the ephemera. one or two is plenty. i am also over all the "vintage" stuff in ephemera packs. no way i'm using a "sold" tag or 30 cents diecut on a page of my child, not to mention a mustard jar. tickets yes, mustard jar no

Pebbles just came out with "Girl Squad" and it is mainly pink. Once again it is geared more to little girls, I think they made it for preteens/teens too but it seems a little too juvenile for that. I was the one who said there was too much Princess stuff and my little girl would rather play outside or play Minecraft. I am way behind on my scrapbooking so I may as well go pink crazy on her baby/toddler pictures while I still can use it.

Given I'm theme-challenged, I dislike the abundance of themed collections. Many feature streotypes (eg dad = ties; mom = housework; boy = bugs; girls = princess; grandmother = cooking; grandfather = fishing). Sports lines are typically geared toward younger children, gender typed (eg volleyball = girls), & omit non-profit sports (eg track/field, lacrosse). School lines are also juvenile.

I don't even need sarcastic titles, but just something in between, and not absolute adoration of school. I like one "first day of school" Would also like a "last Day of School" I'd love slightly generic stickers or tags that said stuff like: "field trip," "spirit day," "my project," "concert day," "school play." I'd also love smallish label stickers that just had subjects on them. English, History, etc. Also, images of books, pencils, pens, crayons, school supplies that aren't cartoon-y and aren't vintage. And how about some technology that reflects 2017? I want laptops, TI 83/84 calculators, tablets. i don't mean to sound curmudgeonly but i'm really tired of all the positive affirmations. there are only so many "let your light shine" or "be true to you" or whatever pages i'm ever going to make. i actually prefer best day ever because i can use it more easily. (bolding mine) I'm tired of all the Stepford perfectness, too. Not everything is gorgeous, perfect day, greatest day in the history of man. Many feature streotypes (eg dad = ties; mom = housework; boy = bugs; girls = princess; grandmother = cooking; grandfather = fishing). Sports lines are typically geared toward younger children, gender typed (eg volleyball = girls), & omit non-profit sports (eg track/field, lacrosse). School lines are also juvenile. I agree with all of this. Also, can we please for a second take a moment to acknowledge that all of us do not have nuclear one mom one dad 2.5 children families? Every boy embellishment does not need to say "Rad like Dad."

I commented this morning, but the more I think about it (and given my general grumpiness the last week or two) I am so tired of the cheerful words! Live, Love, Laugh. What about 'Some days you laugh, some days you cry'? or 'Not happening' 'Not today' 'Breaking point' 'Leave me alone'? I don't want to believe. I want to pout and bitch. Love it? No. 'Hate it'. 'Hate this'. What about some feminist papers and phrases? What about something a bit political or a political line that has journaling cards, a donkey and an elephant, etc.? Options for people who do Project Life or want to scrap elections and protests and rallies and current events? Not everything is The Stepford Wives. Love this! I want that on a t-shirt!

Lack of imagination and creativity. Can't there be one decent collection out there that comes up with funny puns and sayings instead of copying the most pinned quotes of the last five years? Gods and goddesses of Mount Scrapus, save me!
If I'm bound to buy most of my scrap stash in a language that's not my mother tongue, at least make it engaging, interesting and giggle-worthy. Por favor. I'm *this* close to cutting up the "hello" stickers, thickers and die-cuts up to turn them into "hell no's" and send them to scrap companies in protest. Stahp.
I join those who are tired of the everything-is-perfect brigade. Heck, why can't a company design a collection that has a happy A-side and grumpy B-side? I'd buy that.

More baby product options would be nice....
We don't need multiple 'It's a Boy' or 'It's a Girl', that's something you are going to use once. Also 'Bundle of Joy' we don't need multiples of.
Not everybody can use the "we" phrases (for example - "First we had each other, then we had you, now we have everything" type phrases are nice but not for a single mother)
Also maybe a few adoption options would be nice, people who are adopting don't need all the products that document the pregnancy.

I can never use the vintage labels, 5¢ (or any amount), cart postale, Eiffel Towers, etc. that come in most travel collections.
I do mostly beach & cat layouts, but I don't always like overly-themed products. I could not resist Kaisercrafts Pawfect collection, but since we have 3 cats and love them all the same, "Best Cat Ever" is really hard to use. If I decide to use it, I will need to fit all 3 cats on the same layout so as not to show favoritism. Plus it's not something I want multiples of. I found a few different versions in the same die-cut pack. Although their die-cut packs are usually awesome.

White people...There needs to be more diversity in scrapbooking.
Age stereotypes...Not all grandmas are grey haired, cookie baking knitters!
Paris!...there are so many US destinations. Spare me.
Hedge hogs? Cmon, man!
Giraffes? I will NEVER have enough interactions to justify this stickers abundance!
EPIC?! If all our memories are epic, then none of them are-- they become ordinary...um, HELLO!
Are there any college items? It makes sense that A+ cheerleaders and football stars earn scholarships. Adults have been known to continue their education as well. Hmmm

ITA with diversity in people icons. Scrapbooking is very popular in a lot of places in the world and *surprise!!* some of us in the US even have relatives/spouses/families who aren't blonde and white. Representation matters!! Same with age stereotypes - my mom is more fashionable than me and she's nearly 70. She does tai chi and travels and does DIY - an awesome grandmother, but not a white haired, glasses wearing, knitting granny. Not even *my* 89yo grandmother looks like that. (I am laughing though, because I have a hedgehog obsessed 5yo and she picked giraffes as the lovey/animal of choice for her new sister, plus we have a zoo membership so I actually use those a lot.) Save

You must have a cat that thinks highly of him/herself.

My dd2 plays video games (and is wicked good at them too), build robots and lego masterpieces, tinkers in coding, is extremely active. How about a line that is greens, purples, blues, reds, and yellows that has words like "daughter," "she rocks," "her style"? YES - 2 daughters here and the only kid that liked pink or purple or dolls was my son My youngest daughter is all about Lego and Minecraft and Star Wars and green and blue and black and maths and science and frogs... Cartoon like camping stuff- no! I want realistic tent camping, fire pit, fishing, outdoors stuff me too

Overly themed boys collections. I have three nephews and the first two weren't interested in cars or sports. They only briefly went through a dinosaur period. It was near impossible to find anything without that. I agree on just making the papers and let us decide who to use it for. Enough with the gender stereotypes.
I'm also tired of affirmations and things like "be kind", "let your spirit soar", "live free", etc. Just not me at all. I throw all of those away.
Pink! I like pink but I scrap mostly nephews and animals. There are only so many ways to sneak pink into those layouts. And believe me, I sneak it in a lot. Also, cat lines tend to be pink. Who decided that dogs are blue and brown and cats are pink and white? Weird. I have a male cat- he doesn't seem very pink to me.
There are only so many flowers I can use, also. So many floral papers!
I don't mind the animals because I do scrap animals a lot and I can come up with a lot of ways to use them. I can see how random animals won't work for a lot of people, however.
Pineapples! I do like pina coladas, and I plan to have some in Cancun this summer, but that means I can use ONE. The papers that have them are really pretty but a little limiting.
And while we are on beach stuff, why is so much of it tropical? Good for Cancun, but I also go to Rehoboth Beach in Delaware. Definitely not tropical.
I'm over bicycles, too.

Can't believe I missed this thread. After reading others' comments here goes!
--I would like to see words/phrases that can be use for more than one thing or day. Example, instead of First Day of School I'd like School Day or A Day at School. --Instead of the Eiffel Tower I'd like European buildings or villages. --For school again I'd like more things related to teacher. I scrap 2 teachers and my student days are over. --College- there is nothing for college or university. It goes Senior, Graduation. With the exception that the few college things that have ever come out are related to dorm living and being up all night studying. 4 people in my family went to college and none of us lived in the dorm or have pictures of being up all night studying. -- Hello, Rad, Awesome, Chill, are overused. How about Tinder, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Podcast, Skype, Video chat,Put the phone down sometimes that sort of thing... hanging out, hanging with friends
I'm going to come back and add - I'm at work.

The people are in MY PICTURES. (Santa icons are an exception, but I don't put them on the LO with the pic w/ santa!)
