The stamp you are most excited to get in the mail will be the wrong stamp in the correct packaging...
You will also discover that the background stamp you ordered is just a tiny bit too big for your biggest acrylic stamping block . I might have to have DH make me a piece of wood to mount it on because I don't want to pay $15+ for a 5 by 6 piece of acrylic for an $8 stamp.
ETA: all the stuff you want to order online will go on sale, with estimated delivery while you will be on vacation. Do you order it anyway, or hope there is another sale?
What are your scrapbooking groan moments?

As soon as you find a substitute for the embellishment you have been searching up and down for, glue that substitute down, and pop the page into the protector... the one you REALLY wanted to use will pop up on top of everything on your desk, thumbing its nose at you!

What are your scrapbooking groan moments? Large blocks are hard to stamp, anyway. When your stamps are too big you can lay them on the table rubber up, ink, lay down your paper, and gently rub over the paper. It's free and you'll get a better image. Just practice a few times on scrap to see how much pressure you need. It's all good.

As soon as you replace your favorite pair of scissors that you misplaced 3 weeks ago, The original pair shows up in the most obvious of places.

Looked everywhere...except for in the bag I took to my last crop...in August last year. I bought a new pair. Luckily, I was able to buy them with a 60% coupon, but still. Now, I have 2! 🙂

You have just made the perfect card. The colors all coordinate, no ink smudges and the embossing is perfect and then BAM! either 1) you attach the front to the base upside-down, 2) stamp your 'Made by GiantsFan' upside down or 3) screw up writing the message on the inside (which is usually my case).

I also find that every single time I buy something on line it goes on sale or has free shipping the very next day.
Now let me think about a Murphy's law. I am all done with my layout and have a journalling box and find my journalling will not fit in the box and/or I spell something wrong and can't correct it without it looking bad.
Another one is that I have the perfect font of letter stickers or thickers and it is missing at least one letter or number I need.

You see a scrap goodie online that would be just perfect for your current project, only to discover that it was released years ago and has disappeared off the face of the earth!

DawnMcD , KikiPea and GiantsFan: Where are you hosting your siggy buttons? What's a siggy button? I closed my photobucket account yesterday since they wanted to charge for hosting. So I direct uploaded my avatar (there was an option). I have signstures turned off. Are they weird?

You need to die cut a shape and you find the perfect scrap of patterned paper. Fortunately there's just enough of it to fit the die. Unfortunately you put the paper on upside down so all you have is a crappy looking white diecut.
You're intrigued by the Waffle Flower marbling die. You buy one and get ready to try it out but realize you forgot to buy the gray inks you need so it actually looks like marble.

After you make a layout you then see online the perfect paper/embellishments that would have matched your pictures. You see a scrap goodie online that would be just perfect for your current project, only to discover that it was released years ago and has disappeared off the face of the earth! Pinterest always does that to me. I find layouts on there that I love and want to duplicate but then find out they were made a few years ago and the products they used are discontinued.

If an item is going to fall, it's going to wait until I have adhesive all over the back. Then it will fall adhesive side down.

You have 200 pieces of felt or 300 sequins or 70 shades of a color of cardstock, but none of them match what you are working on right now.

If an item is going to fall, it's going to wait until I have adhesive all over the back. Then it will fall adhesive side down. I just came here to post this. Ask which scrapper dropped the die-cut letter "P" today only after putting liquid glue on it. And then ask if she also had to wipe the glue off the floor? Oh yeah. That's me.

This one is from my 18 yr old dd. She was making cards for a friend and knew what out of my stash she wanted to use. Sadly I have been major purging and sold the ribbon she wanted at a scrapbooking garage sale in April

Another one is that I have the perfect font of letter stickers or thickers and it is missing at least one letter or number I need. And it's always a letter or number that I cannot make out of something else. Or, if I have all the right letters and numbers, the font is the wrong color or a quarter inch too big for the space.

screw up writing the message on the inside (which is usually my case). I usually write directly on my layouts. Without fail, I mess up on the spelling or forget to include a word. Frequently, there's a word with a line going through it and the correct word after. I can't be bothered to fix it or do a new page. Murphy's law for me; EVERYTIME I need those little Cutterbee scissors, I can't find them because I put them in a "safe place" because I don't want my son to find them.

You have been waiting FOREVER with all kinds of pent-up creative energy for a chance to scrap, then when you can finally sit down to create something, you are at a complete loss as to where to start and end up with nothing.

You are oozing creativity and on a major crafty roll, 10 PM...you use up the last of your adhesive. As in it's ALLL gone. Do you use the kids leftover glue sticks from school?
I never ran out of adhesive again, always have a drawer full now.

You search and search for a theme and come to find out it just not made by any company. I was doing an Egyptian theme (years ago).. finally made my 'own' look. Sure as sh*t as soon as I finish the layout, a whole line of Egyptian stuff comes out. Used to happen a lot when I first started scrapping... not so much now.. unless I don't own it and don't want to buy it.
