I have made my hotel reservation and am looking through the class schedule. I haven't been in two years, so I am super excited to finally go back.
What classes did you enjoy? I love the Make & Take Crop on Thursday night, so I am going to that.

I didn't make it to the Anaheim Expo in April, but I did go to the one in Ontario last October, and will probably go to that one again. The Make and Take night is fun. I've taken a wide variety of classes in the past, but I'm mostly over them at this point. Next time, I think I'll just park myself at a table and crop all weekend.
As far as classes go, the Heartfelt Creations cards are interesting and pretty. Nicole Peterson is a little cranky, but she's very knowledgable with inks, and her class content is good. I've also taken classes from the people who have acrylic boxes and things to alter, can't remember their name, but their product is fun to work with. The best courses I took was a Photoshop Elements series, but I don't think they're on the schedule this year.
I was disappointed in the Latest and Greatest workshops. By the end of the year, the products were not new or interesting to me. You do get a lot of goodies, though.

I went to the Orlando one this past May We stayed from Wednesday to Sunday! We did the Make N Take, and both crops. As for classes I took 1,2,3... Let's add some interactivity, by Technique Tuesday; Blending Like a Pro, by Nicole Peterson Designs; Color Mastery by Bee Creative; And the Latest & Greatest Stamping and Cool Tools. I enjoyed mostly all of the classes, got to play with some new things, make some cute things, and learned some things! I do agree with oaksong ^ about Nicole Peterson, I had her for two classes (she taught the Techniques Tuesday one), she was a bit cranky, and she kind of talked down about "certain stampers that are on YouTube/are famous" about their usage of the blending tool she didn't name anybody in particular, I did learn some good things from her, but geez.

walkerdill - thanks for the comments you included! This has been helpful. oaksong - when you do the crop, do you leave your gear at the table the whole time or do you have to pack up and bring it back the next time. I am wondering especially about overnight.

I went to Chantilly in June. I love SBE and my favorite part is the crops. I love to have all my stuff right there on site, go over there and have a break, eat a snack, drop off my purchases, and crop until 11 pm.
I found plenty of stuff to buy, also!

I am wondering especially about overnight. I've never done the crop over multiple days, but it looks like people do leave their things at the table. Those ladies bring in large wagons and pack refrigerator-size trolleys full of stuff. I don't even know where you find storage carts that big! You might ask around at your particular crop what is safe to leave at the table. Personally, I would probably leave paper, tools, ink as long as they're put away, but I'd bring more expensive items like stamps, dies, die cutters with me. Let us know how you liked it!

I am wondering especially about overnight. You can leave stuff on your table overnight only if you have four people at your table and you pay an extra fee. For no charge, you can leave your stuff along the edge of the room. I don't leave any high dollar items like technology, but I've left my rolling tote and lots of supplies and bags overnight with no problem. I take a blanket to cover my stuff during the day while I'm shopping or at classes.

I went, but it was just for the shopping. The one class I was interested in was full before I could sign up.
I always enjoy it, though, even just for the shopping.

Another thing about the crop is you can not pay to reserve with the 4 people the first day and just go and grab a table, but then for that night if there are 4 of you then you can each pay $5 by 5 pm and reserve it and leave your stuff for the next day. It worked great for us.
