I decided I need a new white pen. Years ago, I had a Sakura Gelly Roll pen that I liked, and I'd probably buy another, but I wanted to ask you all if you've bought anything recently that you really like ... So, Refupeas, what's good? Recommend me a white pen

Kristina Werner recently did an updated video comparing different white pens! Am forgetting which one she liked best though 🙈

I've had really nice white pens and they all have turned to crap way before I think they should. My most recent ones have been Marvy Ushida

I have had good luck with the Y&C Gel Xtreme. The only problem is that I can't find the white for sale individually in stores so I have to mail order them, usually from Jetpens.
i also use the Uniball Signo pens.

The best pen I have used is the Uniball Signo. While it isn't always perfect, it has outlasted any other white pen I have tried. I probably buy 2 a year at my LSS.

msliz Thanks for that link! I have always used the Uniball Signo. I don't dislike it, but it does tend to skip on me. I like the looks of that Posca Extra Fine...

I tend to buy the pen right before I am going to use it for that reason. Often buy one when I am creating Christmas cards if I am using a dark or deep coloured bg.

Sakura Gelly Roll. They usually last until the ink runs out. I've only had a problem once.

I have found that not all Uniball Signos are created equally. Make sure it is the "broad" tip. But I like it so much more my Gelly Roll one bc it dries more opaque. It also works really well and dries quickly on photos.

I never have luck with them for long. I read somewhere that the little piece that caps the Gelly Roll is critical to keep, but I always lose them.

I was just watching a really old Kristina Werner video, from 2012, and she mentioned a cool tip for getting white gel pens to write better (she credited someone else, but I don't know how to spell her name). She said you should scribble on your fingertip with the pen before you start writing on paper, since it warms up the ink a little bit and helps it flow better. Scribbling on some scratch paper does not do the same thing. Here's the link to the video in case you're interested: www.youtube.com/watch?v=uojvS1cM-rg&list=PLUYWUIEf9mt2Rg8k9DKzCIklAx_7HvuZX&index=84Tip comes at 5:48.
