jstblondie Frozen's not *that* bad. You'll find kindred spirits here to keep you company until September. Make yourself at home. Any SB plans to keep yourself busy with your current stash until you spend again? Freezes are great for working with what you have and getting layouts/cards/pocket pages done no matter what. Pink Paislee's Spellcast is mine. I knew this scrappy splurge was coming so I don't feel bad about it. I bought the papers, alpha thickers and ephemera pack. I couldn't justify the sticker sheets and thickers on top of it though. Anyone else getting something from the autumn and Christmas releases? How are you going about it? Set budget or winging it?

There have been a few things I've liked but nothing I've really loved in these last releases. I keep a running cart at scrapbook.com but will likely delete half of the things in there before I finally hit buy. I'd definitely like to use a few more things in my stash before I add to it again.

I'm going for a no-spend August. That includes scrapbooking. My only exception would be the CB Country Kitchen line. I'll order that whenever it comes out.

I do that all the time - put things in my cart, think about it, delete half, add more, delete more, before I finally place my order!

Like you two, Chinagirl828 and mikklynn, I'm also a serial fill-a-cart-empty-a-cart window shopper on the Internet. It's truly a great way to deal with impulse buying and giving yourself the time to think and decide what's a must and what's a got-carried-away-in-the-moment item. I have literally had times when I ended up emptying the entire cart but one set of thickers or just a couple pattern papers. Eye-opening!
