I just did a search on Amazon (metal label holders) and they have them. Michaels might but it would probably just easier to get exactly what you want on Amazon.

My husband is a woodworker and he is in the process of building a card catalog type cabinet. We both love the look of those cabinets, but they are always so pricey when you try and buy them.
He bought all of the metal frames from Kennedy Hardware. Here is the link to their site and to the page with the metal frames:

He tried so many places, but they had the most reasonable prices.

i think they are called "metal bookplates", that might help your search. we've found them at michaels and HL.
