So it has been 9 years since I last went on "scrapbook camp" and I have hardly been to any crops since then either.
I am going to a 3 day retreat held in a hotel with people I do not know- perhaps there may be some familiar faces when I get there but I doubt it.
Back in the day I took page kits - in fact my local scrapbook shop had me give a little "talk" about preparation on their sale night before camp. People just used to take everything they owned back then! I will take my laptop and silhouette and maybe my cuttlebug with embossing folders, my new stamp platform, light, trimmer, ATG gun and lots of refills. I am probably going to make up about 20 kits with a variety of topics- easy holiday layouts from Hawaii and Fiji, easy pet layouts but am also thinking of taking some of my wedding photos to start on. There will be a shop owner there selling a variety of stuff also. I don't drink coffee so I will probably take a mini esky for my soft drinks. I am so excited- I am on holidays now so I can prepare - retreat starts next Friday! Hopefully I won't have any Crop Nightmare stories to share on my return!!!
Any other must haves I should take?
Corinne

Sounds like you have it figured out pretty well. I envy people who can create kits for events like these.
Can you pre cut titles and any images in advance and leave your Silhouette at home? If you take it, do you need an extension cord?
I don't see any ink on your list, but maybe that's something you don't need? Also journaling pens? I also take a cutting mat and ruler.

You are good to go. I go to at least 2 retreats a year. This is what I take: --a rolling tote with basic stuff in it - cardstock, extra adhesive, extra trimmer, small case with popdots, glue dots, some chalk and ink --A supply case with my adhesive, trimmer, scissors, enamel dots, etc --one or 2 iris cases with whatever I am going to work on. One has the paper I want to use and the other has the photos and embellies I am going to use. --bottled water and or tea --snacks
That's basically it. If I need to provide a meal or two I bring a premade salad or wrap and keep it in a hotel room fridge or a tiny cooler.
Edited: I recently decided to invest in those folding wire shelves just in case the people sitting across from me are impeding my productivity in some way. I can stack them up and put stuff on them and no one is offended. I also have some ear plugs. You might want to bring headphones if you like to listen to music.

Everything you own. That is what I do, LOL.
Well, ok, not quite.
I always bring ear plugs.

Cup holder and something to put your trash in. I have used a small fabric basket for trash. When it's full I take it and dump in the big trash can. I also always bring Tylenol or ibuprofen.

A cushion or pad for your chair if it is a folding/hard chair. A sweater or sweatshirt in case the room is a little too chilly.
I bring my laptop or tablet if I need inspiration and can look up sketches.

I'd add an extension cord and power strip.

Be realistic about how you scrapbook and how fast. I usually find it easier to work on a specific project (a vacation, 1 of the kids school albums, etc.) and only bring what I need for that project. An Ott light is a must have for me. Also, a bag for garbage and my own stash of M&M's.

I went to my first retreat ever last year, and page kits were definitely the way to go for me. I started putting them together a month or so before the retreat. The venue was far enough away that I had to fly. I would have brought more if I'd been able to drive.

I am going to a 12 hour crop on Saturday. I have been putting together kits to make everything easier. I also am pulling the punches, ink, and other embellishments that don't go in a kit and setting them in a pile as I fill each kit. That way I'll have everything I need when I get there.

No advice, because I've never been... but jealous! Have a great time!

I always take a post-it pad so I can write on anything I forgot or want to add to a LO and stick it on that LO so I can remember when I go to finish it at home.
Have fun!

I'd add an extension cord and power strip. Yes, you do need these.... And don't forget the pictures. Do you have time to preplan your pages. This can help you limit what you take, but also ensure that you hav everything you need

This is a great idea as I know I will not finish everything on each layout. Especially journaling as I won't have a printer. Corinne

Thanks for all your suggestions. I have just added them to my list. I had never thought of a cushion but will definitely get one now as I want to be comfortable for 3 days! According to a message I just got it appears that there will be about 12-15 people attending, and I don't know any of them. I'm pretty sociable and I'm sure they will be too. I'm starting to put photos, paper/cardstock, embellishments and sketches together. I still have a great selection of layouts from 2Peas gallery that I saved from my account- recently sorted them into categories and printed them, so I can use them for inspiration. I know that I will end up throwing in extra stuff at the last minute- JUST IN CASE! Hoping to complete 20 layouts. Corinne

Hand lotion my hands get dry from all the paper.
Extra blades for trimmer.
An iris case to hold your completed layouts until you get home.
Some zip lock sandwich or larger bags to hold any left over scraps and embellishments.
A paper plate or small plastic plate to hold embellishments while you work on a kit. Keeps them from getting lost on your table.
If you stamp a mouse pad for cushion as most tables have too much give.
Snacks for sure!
Wear comfy clothes or bring some sweats as the day goes on I find jeans uncomfortable.
I try and make a pinterest board ahead of time for my retreats with cards or layouts I want to use for inspiration so then I don't feel overwhelmed once I get there.
Baby wipes
A to go type mug that keeps my water cold all day.
