I take most of my photos with my Canon Rebel using the Auto or the Sports Mode settings. I use the mid range lens that came with the camera. The flash is automatic unless I shut it off for photos where I want to catch the light and shadows. Most of my editing is simply cropping with the occasional colour edit.
The rest of my photos I take with my iPhone. I edit right on the phone before sending or posting

Never had a smart phone up until a few yrs ago before that used my canon rebel.
My boys are older hate their photo being taken and were really hating it when I took out my camera.
The quality isn't nearly as good but I don't miss lugging the dslr around. I also take different photos now of my food, lss samples etc that I wouldn't with my dslr.
I did dig it out last weekend for a walking garden tour I did.

Nikon DSLR, and I usually have the flash off, the flash blinds people and washes out my photos...
I have three lenses (mid-range, zoom and a 50 mm), I use the mid-range 90% of the time, the zoom the least (it was good for track season when I was trying to take pictures of my tiny specks of children doing their events), and the 50mm when I want a blurry back ground and the subject in focus. Yes, I lug a giant camera around with me.
I use my camera phone if it's what I have but unless I brace it against something, I end up with blurry photos. I can't take a selfie with it to save my life even in "beauty mode."
I also have a point and shoot but mostly I let the kids use it. I love the DSLR!

These days I take pictures with my crappy phone. If it is something special like a birthday I will use my digital camera. Most of the pictures I have I get from my kids and they have nice phones so the photos are good.
I basically take pics any way I can.

I have three times more cameras than I have kids. I have all of my cameras ready depending on where we are going. My dslr is my favorite and I bought a nice Tamron lense that shoots as far and even closer than both my Canon lenses. That one is for boating and all vacations. It takes great pictures. Then I have a variety of smaller cameras that can go under water, stash nicely in my purse etc. My phone is also used when needed.

I use my iPhone 7 for day to day stuff. But if we are going somewhere (sports, school events, the lake) I take my Canon t7i with a longer lens and also my 50 mm lens.

My phone, a Doogee F5 with a 16MP camera - can't beat it for quality. Some of my best photos ever have been taken with it resting on my knee.

I just use my android phone, a Samsung Note 4.
Not great quality, but it's convenient.

All pictures are taken with my phone now. I love that's it's so easy. I take way more photos than I used to take.

I have a lumex point and shoot that I use most of the time. I shoot on auto and sport, too
Dh has dlsr and tons of equipment. He probably spends more money on equipment than I spend on scrapbooking. Photography has been his hobby since we got married. He bought his 1st vivitar dslr in 1968.
He got some stuff last week for his phone camera and used it exclusively last weekend when we did a little trip...just for fun. I did, too, but it was the first time for both of us.
He usually does 98% landscape. I have to ask if I want him to do a people photo. I usually do all the family pictures but I do landscape as well. I usually only crop, adjust lighting and contrast when I edit.

All with my phone. I actually got out my point and shoot the other day because i wanted to take it with us on vacation. Unfortunately the battery will no longer charge.

I take all pics with my iPhone now. If I'm posting to Instagram I just edit on my phone using pic tap go. For scrapping, I upload all pics to my laptop and edit there in PSE using Radlab. I usually end up editing even if it's just using one effect such as 'lights on' but it's pretty quick. I don't usually crop as I use PSE layered templates with clipping masks a lot.

iPhone, I only get my big camera out for portraits and that's not very often. I have several cards full of pictures from vacations that I've never printed so I stopped taking my big camera.

The photos I like are taken with a Canon 7D in RAW - so I need to edit every photo in Lightroom.
I honestly don't like the quality of my iPhone photos. They are never crisp and sharp and clear. They look fine on a small screen for instagram but the noise and camera shake bugs me a lot when I zoom in to edit for printing.

I use my iPhone 6s, but always try to use my Nikon D7100 in Manual mode if I can. I have a 50mm F/1.8 lens and my "Beast" 28-75mm F/2.8. I call it "Beast" because it makes my camera so much heavier and bulky after shooting with only my 50mm for years.
I love having the convenience of my iPhone, but it's not my first choice. The quality is less than stellar, IMO, and I like having more control over everything. I lugged my camera, with Beast, and an extra battery pack all around Disney World and Florida for 10 days and it was one of the best choices I made. The one day I left it at the house to have a break has such a difference in photos, not that I still didn't use them in my albums, but still!

I have a Nikon point and shoot. It's been the only camera I've had for about 7 years now. I don't have a smartphone, nor a dslr.

I have an iPhone 6 Plus and it's my camera. I always have it so it's convenient. I usually only print in 4x6 or smaller so I'm fine with the quality. That being said, if someone around me is taking pictures with a "big fancy camera" I'll always ask for digital copies.

I recently received a Nikon DSLR for a work anniversary. I love it, but have barely touched the surface of the functions. I use that most of the time, but will use my phone if that is what is available.

I use my phone a lot, but also my Nikon CoolPix. My kids also supply me with lots of pics. I don't edit much anymore, just take lots of photos and scrap the ones I want. I use Picasa for my photo editing. I haven't been taking a lot of pictures like I used to, I miss it!

I use an Olympus E-PL1 which is a micro 4/3 camera which I've had for six or seven years. It came with two kit lenses which is all I ever use on it. I like that it's not as bulky as a full DSLR which means I can throw it in my bag when I travel. I've never really bothered to learn how to use it properly so I usually just use the preset modes on it. I'm incredibly lazy and don't usually edit my photos before printing so what you see on my layouts is how I took them.
I use my iPhone 6s for more everyday shots and find that it's fine for the PL type scrapping I do with those photos.

I tend to use a little Lumex camera that I have--point & shoot, or any handy phone. I avoid using a flash most of the time, and the vast majority of photos I take are vertical photos. I can't tell you how many sideways videos I have from when my older son was a baby because I was so used to tipping my camera sideways that I forgot I couldn't do it when taking videos on my new (I was slow to move on from film) digital camera!

I have a great DSLR, which I take for major outings and events. I used to carry a small pocket camera that was a really good one, but when it got broken over two years ago, I never found anything as good to replace it, so I have been using my camera phone. I am not nearly as happy with the pictures from my phone.
During the moving process, I did find a compact camera that I had lost, so I need to charge up the battery and start carrying a compact camera again. I may not love it as much as I did the other one, but at least it will be better than my phone's camera.

I use my DSLR the majority of the time, in manual mode. I use my phone for food pics or to take snaps of the cats. If I go get my dslr for the cat photos they generally follow me and of course stop doing what I was trying to get a snap of. I have a nice backpack for my dslr when I am on vacation or just being casual, and it is actually less obnoxious fir me to carry then my purse, so I use my dslr a lot.
