Transgender man? Transgender woman? Nope. Guess again. www.kentucky.com/news/local/counties/fayette-county/article162364678.htmlBeware those that protest too much - for they are often horrified by what they do, and project their own shortcomings onto others. But isn't it nice he gets so much understanding?.... "“Dr. Narramore is clearly going through some personal issues,” and has resigned from all affiliation with the Republican Party of Kentucky, Watson said. “We wish him well as he attempts to deal with (his) personal struggles.”"

What is it about these guys and PUBLIC bathrooms? Did he learn nothing from Senator Craig's debacle?

Perhaps the state of Texas should have passed a bill requiring separate bathrooms for Republican men. They seem to be the ones we need to be afraid of.

Does anyone else find it hilarious that he was chair of the Le(t)cher County Republican Party?

Does anyone else find it hilarious that he was chair of the Le(t)cher County Republican Party? Sometimes I think I'm in the matrix or in a long-running reality show a la "Truman Show", making it all up as I dream along, coming up w/funny connections like this to see if I can remind myself it's all an illusion. Remember "Reality Winner". Yeah, that kinda convinced me.

Please don't tell me this man was married with children too. If he was a closeted gay man, that's his business. But like was mentioned upthread, why go to a public business like this when there are surely gay bars to meet men who have like desires? What a stupid decision! I just hate it when it turns out that the man had a wife and children that were being lied to.

Reminds me of this blog post from last year... johnpavlovitz.com/2016/04/08/many-christians-obsessed-bedrooms-bathrooms/John Pavolovitz "Surveying my news feed lately, I can’t help but think that most people doing the same thing would be hard pressed not to come away with the conclusion that all Christians are preoccupied with plumbing—both personal and public.
God help us, we just cannot stay out of people’s bathrooms and bedrooms. Whenever a pastor, church, denomination, or Christian politician makes headlines these days, invariably it’s to champion or defend some horrible piece of discriminatory, anti-LGBT “bathroom bill” legislation, or to block someone from ministry based on their gender identity/sexual orientation, or to once again boil down all the ills of our society to what gay people do with their naughty parts. Seriously Church, we haven’t just the lost the plot—we’ve literally flushed it down the toilet."... Somewhere along the way, so much of Evangelical Christianity began to fixate on sex for the same reason the porn industry does: it gets people excited and it generates lots of money. As church attendance has continued to decline, nervous pastors, worried high-profile evangelists, and terrified politicians have realized that they need to continually manufacture urgency to stoke the ever-dwindling fires of the faithful. And they learned fairly quickly that nothing, but nothing stimulates their shrinking bases like talk of sodomy and fornication. The topic of gender identity/sexual orientation is a cheap, effective aphrodisiac for bored, self-righteous people needing a reason to feel religious. It’s spiritual Viagra for people who can’t sustain passion naturally." Lots more at link.

So gross.
A somewhat related aside, our city’s public pool recently changed the signage on the large private rooms that each have a shower, toilet, sink, and changing area. They used to be called “family changing rooms” but now are “all gender changing rooms.” Our local Fred Meyer stores (owned by Kroger) also removed the “family restroom” signs from the private restrooms and put up signs that I think also says all gender restrooms (I can’t remember the wording for sure - I just remember the inclusion). Glad to live somewhere that is making progress in this area.

He snapped? In Canada, there is no diagnosis as "having snapped". I can dig up the piece about Svend Robinson years ago when he shoplifted and "just snapped".
What I first wrote was empathetic towards this weirdo. Then changed my mind. He sounds very closeted and frustrated.
I will never be 6' tall. It is never going to happen. He can call himself heterosexual all he wants...that doesn't change the truth.

Guess you missed this one. linkI guess I missed anyone claiming that Democrats never do anything wrong. What we're actually talking about here is lawmakers who build a career on trying to legislate other people's morality, until it turns out they're guilty of their own sexual missteps. It tends to be Republicans, not Democrats, who scream bloody murder about bathrooms but then get caught in the bathroom waving their willies.

Guess you missed this one. linkThe story you posted along with the one the OP posted shows why we need transparency in politics. A Democratic state senator has been removed from his job. A Republican party chairman has resigned from his job. That is always a good thing. I do agree with lucyg . The Republican party has to stop legislating morality. The leader of the United States is an adulterer and an admitted pussy grabber. They have to stop this business of claiming moral superiority. I could never register with either party, but if they could be fiscally conservative and socially liberal, I'd vote for more of their candidates.

Two things: #1 He's caught in the act and yet " maintains his innocence". #2 He's a dentist. As of July 19th (article date), he's still practicing. I know, I know...innocent until proven guilty. Guess they're waiting for their court date.
