I'm on episode 5 and I'm loving it. It has Jason Bateman & Laura Linney in it. It's definitely not kid appropriate. I'm curious if anyone else is watching & how how your liking it?

Soo good! What's awesome is that they filmed almost all this in GA (minus the Chicago scenes) about 5 minutes from my house!! I passed by filming quite often and the Blue Cat Lodge is still there!

I'm originally from the Ozarks, so I'm wary of watching it because I'm not sure how they will depict people. I do love Jason Bateman, though, so I might break down and watch. I also don't have Netflix, so....

This is the description from IMDB: A Chicago-based financial advisor secretly relocates his family to the Missouri Ozarks when his dealings with a drug cartel go awry.
Netflix has told me I'd enjoy it and I'm another Jason Bateman fan so have it on my list of shows to watch.

I also don't have Netflix, so.... My thoughts, as well. I'm a KS girl through and through, but I lived in the Ozarks for 10 years. If my heart & family weren't here, I most likely still would.

I also don't have Netflix, so.... Yeah...most of the locals aren't depicted in the best light. I guess that's the nature of this kind of show. I guess the nice, normal neighbors don't advance the plot along . I'm really enjoying this one though. Great show.

We watched episode 1 last night and I thought it moved kind of slow. Does it pick up and/or get more action packed? Or does it remain a drama based show?

Without spoiling it for anyone else, I thought episode one had a ton of action. If you didn't agree, guessing you won't like the next two episodes as there is much less murdering and adultery.

What part of the Ozarks is it set in? Are there any real towns referenced/used?

I'm on episode 3 I think. I read a blip that described it as Breaking Bad set in the middle of the Ozarks so it got me interested. It's moving a little slow though..

I am on episode 5 and I gotta say, I'm kinda bored. I'm not really interested in continuing to watch, but I would hate not knowing how it ends.

We binge watched last week. I liked it but I think it would be fine as a one season show. I can't imagine how they can do much more without it seeming the same season after season. but I think that about a lot of the dramas these days.

I watched the entire series the week before last. I thought it was really good. I love Esai Morales (plays Del) and I think he does such a good job in the this show. I wasn't necessarily a big fan of Jason Bateman's but after the series I am looking forward to more from him.
The last episode (12) had me going "I can't believe you just did that you crazy wench!!!"
