It looks like AC are trying to lure younger millenials into scrapbooking and have a very Serena Bee-esque Halloween line out for this autumn called Bootiful Night. Pastels, youthful vibes, brush strokes, skulls having a text message exchange and the trendy holographic foil finish. I think it's a great collection for teenagers and young adults who want to try their hand at some sort of October Daily project.

It's cute. I wouldn't use it for scrap booking, but I would definitely use it for cards, loot bag toppers and/or tags, invitations, party items, etc. (I prefer to choose my papers based on the colors from my photos, so most years, my kids' costumes just don't jive with traditional Halloween papers. Every so often I'm lucky and they want to be a skeleton or something, but other years I'm trying to find papers that match Thomas the Tank Engine or Pikachu. ) Save

I'm actually shocked that I love it, I ordered everything from the collection and will be using it for my October Daily.

I like it more than most Halloween lines...the papers are mostly a pass (except I love the black with the colorful stars) because it appeals to me because it's not doodlebug cute, but it's not overly spooky either...I could make it work with my kids in their cute costumes.

Is the holo the new trend? It seems like many AC lines have it that are coming out, but Lovely Day was the first and only I had seen of it this year before this. Not really a fan. Trying to make it the new gold?

It's okay.
The colors will have to grow on me.
But I do like that all the faces are happy and smiling.

I like the plaid & stars patterns for non-Halloween pages, but generally dislike foil, themed, & "floating" icon papers.

You know you just like the name of the collection. "Draw me like one of your holographic foil ghosts..."

Trying to make it the new gold? I'm not a big fan, either. Then again, I also don't really like foil, metallic, glitter, flocked, etc., etc. The only exception for me is that I did find good use for some gold elements because it just so happened that I started having photos from numerous golden anniversary parties right around the time when gold started being trendy. Mostly, I just boring plain finishes on my papers. Save
