I am really surprised that no one has mentioned his Halloween lines. I just finished watching the one for his stamp and stencils and I really like them. I liked some of his other lines that he did a video of last week. I searched Tim and didn't see it so sorry it if was already mentioned.
I watched the videos on his FB page. The samples were really nice and I really don't need any Halloween stamps but am really tempted by a few of the sets.

I wonder if they will show up at Michael's again this year. I wasn't in love with last year's line...and I haven't seen this year's. Guess I will go look for it.

I just watched the holiday release videos over the weekend. There are a few items I really want. I was on a major Tim Holtz kick last year after taking Creative Chemistry, so I'm going to be a little more restrained this holiday season. I really like the graveyard/fence/ghost die set, and the snowglobe.
What are everyone else's favorites?

I'm so tempted to sign up for one, but I'm afraid that it will be just stuff I can find on YouTube. Obviously if it caused a major Tim Holtz kick for you, you found it inspiring. Would you recommend their classes, then? SaveSave

I'm so good at buying his stuff, and so bad at using it. I'll probably pass.

Would you recommend their classes, then? SaveSaveYes, it's a series that's is offered through Online Card Classes. Last summer he added class 103 in August. In June and July, 101 and 102 had an interactive online discussion as everyone went through the sessions. Even though those classes were old, you could ask questions and people could post new projects they completed. By the time August rolled around, the new class went live, with lessons added every few days. There are products that I still go back and refer to when I can remember how to use them, from layering ink to cleaning stamps. If you're interested in mixed media, there is a wealth of information. It's all extremely in-depth, and calling it chemistry is not a stretch. The hands-on lessons build as you go, so you really are an expert on every product Ranger has to offer by the end. The knowledge certainly can be applied to other company's products as well. It's was fun to learn because Tim is such a great teacher. You can get a lot of it from YouTube, but having the progression of materials all in one spot makes it so much easier. Before taking this class, I could barely call myself a stamper. Now I pull out whatever the mood strikes me to use - paint, texture paste, crayons, watercolor - with confidence in knowing how to use them. My favorite class result was when DD had some friends staying with us from the UK last summer. We got out some tags, distress crayons, stencils and stamps, and they had a craft night. I had fun showing them how to use everything and they got to take some homemade souvenirs back with them. (Photos removed)

I'm pretty sure he said they would not be at Michaels and they would only be at on-line stores this year. Not sure if it was his whole line or just parts of them - I can't remember which video he said it in. Save

When he said it wouldn't be in chain stores, I said 'well, that answers that question' and proceeded to try and convince myself I didn't need any of it then, lol.

Enablers! Now I need a few of those stamps and that platform thing he's selling (is that even available?) because I have the stamping ability of a five year old.
