Hello,
I am new to the boards (have been a lurker for a lonnnggg time) and I need some help. I have my scrap table in my living room which is open to the whole house. In the past 6 months I have gotten a new kitten, I love him very much but he is playful, and I can't keep a in progress layout out on my desk anymore or it becomes a play thing. I am trying to figure out a way that I can cover it or something I can put on my desk to work in/on that can be closed when done, but easy to get back to it when I am ready to work on it again.
Does anyone have solutions out there that have worked for them? I can't be the only one with a kitty who thinks title letters and paint brushes are toys.
thank you!!

We have two kittens that are five months old. I can totally empathize, they get into everything. I end up putting everything away when I am not standing there to protect the layout. I have a 12 x 12 box for the pieces of the layout.
Good luck. Good thing they are cute, right?

I have something called "Scrap'n Easel" by Contain Ya Crafts. It is a magnetic board that closes on a two page 12x12 layout. It's not perfect, since the magnets can change sides when closed, but it would probably keep your kitty from playing with the layout when you aren't there to protect it.

i would use an iris container, which you can get at the big box stores. kittens are worse than toddlers!
