Did anyone else order any of the Maggie Holmes Carousel or Crate Paper Fa La La? Other online stores received this product 2 weeks ago. I pre-ordered from ACOT and it's still not in stock.
My concern is if ACOT doesn't get it in, I'm stuck trying to track it down elsewhere. Typically these lines get stocked once and then some of the items sell out everywhere so it is impossible to find the whole collection in one shop. Which is why I preordered. Is this typical for ACOT to receive product so much later than other shops?

They typically get it, but I wonder if they are just consistently late to ordering. They always get things in after other companies.

I've done lots of pre-ordering with ACOT and they've never let me down. But yes, it usually seems that they get their stock later than other places.

Scrapbook.com has an agreement with AC to sell Project Life so maybe that's why they get the AC stuff first. ACOT has always been reliable with my Pre-Orders so you don't need to worry. I have noticed that ACOT gets Doodlebug in before other stores so I always Pre-Order my Doodlebug products there.

I have preordered from ACOT many times, and yes, it seems like it takes them forever to get the product in. I do it because they often have a good preorder discount. The trade-off is that it requires a lot of patience.

Dang. I have a pre-order in with them for the Glitter Girl stuff and have been counting down the days until it ships from AC. :X I should've done my research first on the boards. I really wanted it for the start of school in a couple weeks. Blergh.

I got burned on some ACOT pre-orders back in the day, and then they raised their shipping, then lowered their cherry hunting allotments...and I just gradually stopped ordering there.
I do almost all of my online ordering from Scrapbook Generation. Great rewards program, ability to combine orders and get free shipping, and awesome customer service. Plus, I feel like they get the new stuff pretty fast.

For what it's worth, my ACOT order with a ton of Carousel in it got here today. I got a bunch of papers, the chipboard, the sticker sheet, and the ephemera. It could just be one thing holding your order up maybe? It looks like there are a few things that didn't arrive at ACOT yet - the paper pads, sticky notes, the cutapart paper, etc. Just happens to be stuff I didn't order.
My Fa La La order hasn't shipped yet. Funny because I always think of ACOT as getting stuff in fast (compared to Scrapbook.com), but it's probably just the preorder perception thing.

I did preorder with them a few times but basically you have to buy everything separately or your order gets held until everything is in stock. And that really racks up the shipping charges.
I shop at paperissues.com now. They have a 20% everyday every purchase total. Codes are always posted on ig and fb. She often runs big sales too. In June it was 50%, last week it was a 30% sale.
