Do tell! I just placed a small order to see how it works out. This particular seller accepted PayPal so I am hoping everything will go through smoothly with it. I bought these alphas in all the colors and this coffee stamp. nicolep Thanks for posting these! I have been looking for mini alphas!! Off to try to find them now!!

This is probably a dumb question but how can you tell which vendors take payments through PayPal? I would be more comfortable paying that way.

Remember I bought some dies recently? Well I had the chance to use the stitched hill popup on my niece's birthday card, along with some Lawn Fawn fairy stamps. I cut the stamped images with my Cameo and pixscan mat.
Really pleased with how it all turned out:

Oh I forgot that I also bought these silver chipboard assorted cameras just like Studio Calico's. I receive gold ones in their warehouse sale last year and I love the cameras but don't care for the gold so when I saw the silver ones I put them in my cart. Those look exactly like the MFT camera dies. Here is a link in case you'd like to buy them. MFT dies

I don't do die-cutting, but have a question about what you guys are looking at / buying from this website-- does the fact that they're brand-name *clones* mean that they're knock-offs, or what? Do you have any reservations about the quality of the products you're buying from there? (I'm asking for future reference, lol!) Yes, they are knock offs.... Just like the knock off nikes or Kate spade purses that come from China. China does not recognize the US patents. I wonder if some of the smaller stamp companies will survive having their designs ripped off?

The stamps that look like MFT, Lawn Fawn, Hero Arts, Mama Elephant are definitely knock offs. They are NOT seconds or irregulars or anything like that. They are copied and manufactured solely for selling. They are stealing designs from US small businesses.
How do I know? Well, I bought some (unknowlingly)from a destash site, and was very disappointed to find out that they are not the nice photopolymer like the originals (which is made in the US, not China), but they are that crappy silicon, that doesn't stick to the block, nor does ink stick to it. Not any dye ink anyway. The silicon stamps were uneven, and had some oily residue on them. I threw them away.
I'm not judging anyone for buying these, just wanted to clarify that they are not originals, or any version. When something says it is made in the US, then it is. There are laws for being able to claim that on your packaging. They are copies, just like fake handbags, watches, etc.

You make a very good point. These smaller companies like Lawn Fawn, Hero Arts, My Favorite Things, Mama Elephant, etc will not survive if people keep buying these. They are not NIKE or Kate Spade or Coach (which its still wrong to knock off those products, but those companies are bigger)
Furthermore, access to stamp and craft stores in the US (online or otherwise) will be limited because how are they supposed to compete?
Not to be political, but wasn't one of the major issues in our last presidential election about keeping jobs in the US? I really feel bad for the small business owner who is up against China.

nicolep the packing times definitely vary. I've had things ship out the next day and other orders take days to pack. I think they allow about 12 days for things to process and ship?

Booyah! I just got my first sleepingbooty -enabled AliExpress order and I am delighted. I began small...just two orders, each with one set of stamps (the cute ghosts and the grab machine - told you I was channelling sleepingbooty ) and at last minute, I doubled up the ghost set so I could give one to my small girlfriends who will LOVE IT!! At all stages, I've had notification of the process...packing-shipping-arrival in this country and finally, delivery today. It's taken a while but hey, they got here in time for Hallowe'en. What's not to like? I would never have spent more on such designs, am none too worried about the quality of the product, which I see as fun, ephemeral and definitely not an heirloom. On this occasion then, Ali delivered the goods. Thank you all for your encouragement.

For anyone interested in some of the layered dies, I got 2 of the peony ones and am really pleased with them. I made my own 3rd layer by tracing one of the dies using my Pixscan mat so I can cut it with my Cameo.
Here's how they look:

Has anyone else noticed the animal silhouette dies with cut-out sayings? They seem too trendy and hipster to be an "AliExpress/Chinese cheap stuff designer exclusive." Anybody know which scrapbook/craft brand offers the original (just being nosy)? Yeah you're right... Those are trendier then the ones you typically on there. I've never seen them anywhere else either. By the way... I sent a message to the seller of my two orders and magically they shipped last night.

Several vendors sell these. Personally, I'd recommend WenTao as this shop combines AliExpress Standard Shipping for multiple packs of dies purchased at once, meaning you get your order in a short amount of time with a really good tracking system (it ships from the UK for mainland Europe). And only 1,21€ in shipping via AE Standard for pretty much any total amount of dies bought (hopefully this is also the case for the US). StagWolfBearAlso, yay for your order "magically" shipping! Hope it reaches you soon.
