This is a gift I made for a friend's new baby girl. I have a gift album I've done for someone else, but I'll have to upload those pics to the gallery, and add the link, later. What all have y'all been up to?

The quilt I made for my so to be new grandson. I had made the cross stitch squares about 35 yrs ago, put them away and forgot about them. When DH finished my craft room and I was organizing I put them on the donate pile and at the last minute decided to keep them.

Just finished the second stocking a friend asked me to make. It is 20 inches long made with Linen lined with raw silk and with loads of hessian, lace and ribbon trims. This is the third item made from a lovely book by Debbie Shore than I am in danger of wearing out. Next project from same book will be a shoulder bag I think. Attachments:

I can see your picture on your post KikiPea. What lovely things everyone has been making! I don't think I've picked anything up for the whole of July; I seem to have been covering holidays and doing more day time baby sitting. The month has passed in a blur. DS1 and his partner are arriving on Sunday for a few days so I hope to generate some me time once they've left. We hope to get some remodelling done in the house shortly so I will hide away with projects while the men work.

I still haven't blocked my shawls. I sell stuff in a local gallery, so I'm busy with that this month as August is a real tourist month. I forgot to take pics of the tutus I added to some store bought infant onesies. I was using glitter tulle. Never again! My poor husband went to work sparkling last week. And, I hate glitter. It's like Christmas tree needles, you find it years later. I'll try to remember to take pics when I take my next stuff in. Now, at work, I've been making these hats. Boss trademarked the saying but I'm not sure they will be huge sellers. . ETA: oops....posted the wrong hat. Here's the correct one.

Oh wow, love looking at these! I have got to get new pictures of my afghan. Will try to do that. But I also painted and sewed a canvas mini journal. You can see it along with a couple of pages in it. I do a page or so a day. They are SO quick and fun. Love my book. I have 60 pages in it. Can't wait to see it filled up! I am in love with your style!

I love everyone's projects! I'm hoping to finish 3 (yes 3) baby blankets while on a trip this weekend, then will finish a hat/scarf for the Special Olympics project, and make another if I have enough yarn. Oh also have to wash/block an afghan my crochet group collaborated on for the fair next week. Then I might just make something for myself

I haven't picked up my knitting needles in a while -- hopefully I haven't forgotten how to knit! I have one hat very nearly done except the top needs to be closed with the Kitchener stitch, and I'm struggling to find a clear tutorial on that. Once I get the hat done, I'll post a pic!

Ok, here's a link to the gift album. There were a ton of pics, so, not a lot of room to embellish...which was actually good, because I only had a few days to finish it! Gift Album

I did a little sewing for my girls. They each got a tunic to wear with their leggings. Middle girl wanted a hood on hers. I was using new patterns from Love Notions Patterns. They are Laundry Day Tees. The women's pattern is free if you like their facebook page. I paid for the girls' size. The hood is from the girls' pattern. Size 16 hood fit great on the size small women's tunic.

I've finished my Hydrangea blanket at last! Woohoo lainey that looks beautiful - do I remember correctly that you were using cotton yarn? Thank you It is cotton, Paint Box DK. It's not a yarn I'd buy again because it's rough on the fingers. Save
