I finally had some time to sit down and play with my supplies. I would love to see what you are all working on this weekend. Please share.
I tried to trace around some cups and cut some circles but they just came out looking crappy. I just ended up throwing them away and doing something completely different. I need a better circle cutter. Definitely something to put on my Christmas list.

I am working on one of my old ScrapScription mini album kits and watching it pour down rain this evening.

I am tomorrow if my room is cool enogh--the AC in my scraproom is terrible and with the heat hitting over 100 here in florida it just doesn't get cool enough. DH promised he'd try to fix the AC so...here's to hoping. If not, I might just bring a few kits into the living room It's been a while!

mamakoala I'm in Michigan. Yesterday was so cold I had a sweater on all day. DH is leaving for a couple of weeks of training and I'm thinking I'm going to turn our air off. It's supposed to only be mid 70s here dipping into the 50s at night. So I am thinking I'll just open the windows.

I am not scrapping but I did locate some supplies for the crop I'm going to next weekend. I am sewing commissions all weekend. My hands are kind of sore from ripping out stitches, haha!!

I'm off to a copic class - for beginners.
It's been on my to-do list for a few years now, and I decided the time was right, so I signed up.

I haven't actually scrapped, but I did buy two WRMK paper pads that I'm looking forward to using with my July photos that should be here this week.

I went to Vegas in July and nearly died as it was 104. But being that they don't have the humidity like we do here it seemed a little better. My DH starts sweating when it turns 60. He's a cold weather person. So usually he has our air condition cranked up. I don't mind 70s weather.

Long weekend here in Canada. Have to deal with a bunch of garden stuff tomorrow, but hoping to do at least a little crafting on Monday. I really NEED to get back to playing with paper.
We do not have AC here in north eastern Alberta Canada. (I told dh for the "3 days we get hot weather each year, we don't NEED AC!") If it ever hit 101F there is no way I could stop him from investing in AC. Then I would be freezing most of the time like I do in his truck or in a shared hotel room with him. Have been able to keep the house at a fairly reasonable temp this summer using strategically placed fans.

I have been. It's been raining on and off today so I made a big batch of pumpkin soup which is just about ready and have been playing in my scrap room in between. I finished a single page last night and have two doubles partially done.

Well I am turning in for the night. I scrapped 5 layouts with that gossamer blue kit. I loved the entire kit.

I am hoping to get into my scraproom this afternoon. DH is about to leave for Sweden until Thursday, so I can do what I like for 4 days! I've been trying to get everything a bit more orderly, but today I just want to play with paper.

I am HOPING to get a little time this evening. I swear we have been ridiculously busy all summer. I have to get ready to take my MIL to church shortly, then I have to clean the house and do some laundry. I'll lose my mind if I don't!
I'm feeling very whiny about the lack of time recently!

Not me, but we are making lots of memories. That is good right? We had a big bmx state race yesterday and another race here in 2 hours. I got sunburned yesterday (OW! I am a ginger in all its glory so I am hurting lol!) Tomorrow it is supposed to be raining all day (PLEASE DO!) so I hope to be in the basement playing with paper for some of the day!

I'm helping DD make some cards. Last night, I showed her how to create a watercolor background with Distress Inks. I think she's hooked!
I'm playing with my first layered stamp, a sea turtle set from Hero Arts. I tried using some inks I already have, but I can see where the ombré ink sets would work better. Ugh, looks like I need more ink.

I am trying to but wasted time yesterday sorting in my craft room and now am procrastinating while 2peaing and watching Netflix. I have 10 swap cards to get done today and then hope to pull out layouts I didn't finish at the crop last weekend. Actually, I have a couple bags I haven't gotten unpacked from said crop, so probably won't get to the layouts since I want to get the rest of my stuff put away. It's been a chilly weekend here, too. Last night I either needed to put wool socks on or go to bed...going to bed won out

It's been too hot and stuffy here to work in my craft area so I'm getting really behind in my projects. I printed a bunch of pictures thinking I'd move supplies out to the main part of the house where it's a bit cooler, but that seemed like too much fuss so instead I'm spending time on Youtube and filling up carts in online stores that I'll probably never buy.

Look at you, jeremysgirl, scrapping like crazy! You page layouts are really nice! I just had so much fun. I know my photography isn't good. And my scrapping skills are rusty. But after almost 9 years away from the paper, it felt good to just play around again.

It has been gorgeous, for sure. I do get better about scrapping when the weather is colder.
