I have a Canon MP 560 and I don´t like it at all. The pictures are dull and blurry. This is the second Canon I have and that I´m not happy with so now I want to try another brand (at least if there hasn´t come a new Canon thats amazing...). Does any one have any recommendations?

For photos, I think Epson is the best. I've had problems with print heads clogging if it's not used enough though. I have a canon selphy photo printer and I really like it. If you print small photos most of the time, a dedicated photo printer is a really good investment. I think they print better than big printers.

I agree the photos on my Canon printers have always seemed dull to me. And I've owned 3 different ones. I finally gave up and went with a portable printer for my pictures and couldn't be happier.

I got the Epson XP860 for Mother's Day, and I'm very happy with it. I keep 2 sizes of photo paper in it because it has 2 paper trays - 4x6 and 8.5x11 - it's handy for printing different sizes or multiple photos on one paper. It prints very crisp, clear, and bright. I have had other Epson printers in the past that have clogged when they went unused for an extended period of time (over 6 months, when I've paused my scrapbooking due to stress/personal issues). I print at least a photo a week now to prevent the clogging - even if I know I can't scrap that week, I still just print a photo.
I would buy this one again for sure.

(With me gushing about it, I'm sure people are sick of hearing me. Lol)

I have a ton of Canon photo paper my husband got from a client.....I guess I better use that up while shopping for a new printer.

It is great to be able to print the photos that I want, whenever I find the time to scrap. The print quality is amazing. Highly recommend it!

For some reasons Epson does not sell the picture mates in Norway, but I think I might go for the Epson XP 960.

If I had to buy one, it would be the XP - it's wireless, so portability isn't as important because I can still print from wherever I am in the house. Being able to print in different sizes is also great - with my PM-400, I couldn't print out 5x5s for a picture frame in my house, for instance, so I still had to go to Costco for that.

I have the Epson PM-400 and it can print up to 5x7. I have printed 5x5 photos onto a 5x7 canvas.
