stamp positioner platform....
I have seen a couple YouTube videos where they added small magnets in the holes on the back of the platform to magnetize it. Has anyone here tried it? And did it work well? I'm thinking of giving it a whirl if I can find the right size magnets.
I would love the Tim Holtz one but just can't justify buying another. If I had known at the time I would have waited to purchase.

I haven't tried it, but it sounds like a great idea.

I haven't tried the magnets. I find that if I take the time to position the paper solidly into the corner of the press just before I lower the stamp, it works well. In fact, often there is no need to restamp at all, but if I do, I again make sure the paper is snugged into its corner before lowering the stamp again.
I have all but given up stamp blocks for routine stamping, b/c my precision press gives me such crisp images, and it is so easy to use.

Yep, I have! I grabbed some magnets off of Ali Express. Took E6000 glue or whatever that epoxy glue is and made a pretty every couple of holes pattern. I had to make sure and keep them all turned the same way. I used my magnetic plate for my Sixxiz to help keep them turned correctly.
I love having it magnetized.

Just finished gluing in all my magnets! Works like a charm. Very happy with this solution because I liked the platform but had issues with the paper staying put.
