I finally took the plunge and ordered the Tim Holtz stamping platform. I have the Stampoholic but the TH will allow me to use bigger sheets of paper. Kind of an upgrade.
Anyway, I'd been wanting to try a layering stamp. So while I was shopping I found one I liked and added it to my order. I also had never gotten a stamp set with matching dies so one of those went into my cart also. Happier but poorer my goodies should arrive this weekend.
Any new crafty things you're contemplating?

I've been on a mini album kick lately. While not a new thing, I tried one on my own last year and it was a disaster. This time I am following some tutorials and have had great success. I can't honestly think of much that is new. Hopefully there will be lots more ideas on this thread.
I do have an unused stamp positioner. I should use it more. I bought the Hampton Arts one ( I think) before it was pulled. The couple of times I messed with it a restamp did not line up. So not sure what I did wrong.

I've been eyeballing the Heidi Swapp Storyline line for awhile now...I plan to eventually pick up the palm-leaf album and coordinating embellishment kit to scrap an upcoming beach trip. I've decided that if I really like it after that, I may consider using other albums/kits to help get caught up on my "everyday life" scrapbooking. I was trying to use PL but I don't consistently stick to one orientation for my photos and it makes it really hard to pick a page protector to fit everything.

I've been wanting to try using those large background or word outline diecuts that are backed with patterned paper.

I hope you have fun with those stamps and dies, artisticscrapper! I ordered a set of layered pine cone stamps when I got my WRMK precision press, but have not got back to playing with them. Maybe the next round of Christmas card making. I am always up for something new, but right now I am just excited to be getting back into scrapping pages again! It has been a busy few weeks, and my scraproom is calling me...

I honestly can't think of anything new that I want to try. I would just like to have more time to scrapbook lol. I was trying to use PL but I don't consistently stick to one orientation for my photos and it makes it really hard to pick a page protector to fit everything. OMGosh. This is me. I have such a difficult time with it!

I'm so glad it's not just me! I stick with the original Design A. If my photo is horizontal, I print it 4x6. If it's vertical, I print it 3x4. Takes some of the guesswork and frustration out of it for me.
