Well, I won all of $11.00. Had one ticket with the powerball number (4) and another ticket with the powerball number and two other numbers. If no one won, I'll invest that money in Saturday's drawing.

I would never want to win that kind of money. I know tremendous good could be done with it, but I just don't think I'm the right person to deal with the pressure of making the choices I think are right amid what I am sure would be tremendous numbers of people & organizations trying to convince to go with their idea of the right thing to do with it all. If I lived in a state where my name would be kept private, then I might feel differently. But I have no desire to have that kind of money and to have people know about it. No way. So I will absolutely not buy any tickets, thereby making each of your odds the tiniest sliver better, LOL! Best of luck to those playing.

You have always been a part of the heist. You're only mad now because you don't like your cut.

This will be more than enough for me to leave the country forever. Like to the Swiss Alps or something and I would fly home on my private jet to shop. After taxes, of course.

Could one of you please win??? I want to be able to say I know someone (I mean we all know each other, right?) who is really *that* rich. Half a billion dollars is *that* rich.

I have a whole plan for winning and staying anonymous. Before I turned in the ticket I would legally change my name (secretly), hire an attorney and financial adviser, then disguise myself significantly and claim the winnings under my new name. After a short bit of time I would again change my name back to me. There are a few other steps, but I would try to stay as anonymous as possible. I don't actually play Powerball though, so this plan is not even relevant.

Well if you take the cash you only get half the money. Well less than half. But I still could live on that. My husband's near 70 year old brother would take the payments because he wants as much as he can get. Never mind that he probably won't live long enough to get it all.

Plus if he passes before full dispursement which is 30 years, the remaining amount does not go to descendants. The amount you'd make in interest for having the lump sum in a bank account is a fortune in itself.

At 300 million, you can easily invest a 1/3 and make back the other 2/3s

A parent of a relative's spouse won over a decade ago, took the cash option, & divided the money equally between his (adult) children, him, & his spouse/their mom. Each person uses the money as s/he choses. My relative's spouse quietly paid their debts (ie mortgage & car loans), increased their donation amount to their favorite charities, & invested the remainder; you'd never know they are/had become millionaires overnight.

I won $16. So I reinvested my winnings into another ticket. But I'm back in UT now, so if no one wins on Wednesday, there's no getting another ticket for Saturday. I guess I better win.
