I have an ATG 714 (red). I purchased it many years ago. I love it.
So.....if you have gotten one recently where did you get it? My girlfriend is looking for one.
Tape....I haven't had to order in awhile. Where do you get your tape?

Does Michael's still sell it? If not, I got mine from Framingsupplies.com.

I think all of the ATGs I have seen use the same tape. I would get the archival tape (more expensive). The general tape CAN be more difficult to use. I have met several people who had bad luck with the cheaper tape.

I bought mine long before the 714 came out. The 700 was the "smallest" one available at the time I bought mine. It uses 1/2" tape so I needed an adapter to use the 1/4" tape.

I should have said the ATGs in Michaels and Hobby Lobby (that I have seen).

The Tape Depot is another option. I have this ATG, and it's still going strong after about 10 years. Here's the link: ATG 50Amazon has a very good deal on the Scotch ATG, which is the one Michael's sells, plus some acid-free tape: Scotch ATG (Disclaimer: This is my Affiliate Link.)

I get mine from the Tape Depot. They are quick and it's reasonable. Cannot even imagine working without my ATG!!!
