So fri, sat and sunday I had scheduled to attend a crop about an hour from my house. I went yesterday for a few hours and then felt sick...and then came home and slept 12 hours....went back today at 12 noon but only lasted 4 hours  . The crop was supposed to be til midnight today and tomorrow 9 am to 8 pm. I definitely can't go tomorrow. On the plus side, I created 8 pages. I just wish the first time i've been sick in years wasn't this weekend!  okay, pity party over. I will post my pages in the gallery tomorrow if I'm feeling better. How's YOUR weekend going? Anybody get any scrapping done? |

That's to bad. Sorry you don't feel well. I wonder if they could refund some money or credit money back to you so that you can go to another crop. It doesn't hurt to ask.

Being sick at a crop is no fun, especially if you have to drive an hour each way to get there! That happened to me a few years ago. Took the fun right out of the whole experience. Hope you feel better soon.

I am so sorry you were too sick to scrap the way you hoped. I know last winter I was sick with the flu and missed the first day of a 3 day retreat. My husband drove me over the second day when I was feeling human.
This weekend as with all of my recent crops my productivity has slowed down significantly. Although this year since February I have completed 150 layouts of my living history photos project and filled 3 albums already, I am only getting about 15 pages done at an all day crop - like a 9 hour crop. At this rate I don't know how long it is going to take me to finish even the first part of the project because I think I'm only about half done. My current photos are only done up to May - not exactly current any more!
On the plus side, I was putting layouts away and was looking through albums of my boys when they were very young and I just love each and every page. I see how much fun product I've used. And how much I have completed. So I just have to keep going one layout at a time!

Oh, that sucks! I'm so sorry! Glad you were able to get some scrapping done, but I'm sure you can't help but be disappointed.
No scrapping for me, but I have been doing a lot of sorting and organizing in my scraproom.

So sorry. That is awful. I had lunch out before I went, while there I got sick. Took about two hours to get me. Luckily I felt better the next day. It is just sad when you pay and are excited to go then that happens.

thanks for all the well wishes. i didn't feel much better today, so i didn't get to scrap, but i will be sure to find time to make up for it when i feel better. took a long 3 hour nap today, and now it's 7 pm and i'm ready for bed!

Oh, that's awful. I remember one time I had a fall retreat with a bunch of women that I didn't really know...I took my mom with me....and I got there Friday afternoon and I could tell I was coming down with something and I went to bed early and slept most of Saturday. It was my worst retreat ever. And those gals didn't think I was very fun...I never got invited to go with them again. Ha. Double bummer.
Hopefully you are on the mend. So sorry it didn't work out. That's really a shame.
