I am moving my scrap stuff back into my room from my garage and I have so much stuff. Top it off with all of the enabling that is done around here, I have a mess! I do have a box that I am tossing things into to donate to an art class at a school. I feel like I can't go forward and create until everything is in it's place. ARGH!

Good luck getting it organized! I did the same sort of thing March-June. Yes, it took me that long, as I had cabinets, etc. built....Hopefully you will get it all set up right as rain! And yes I have a lot of boxes full of stuff that I need to deal with....but that will be a fall project.

I have given up on organizing. I am just using my time to scrap. Someday I will be retired and will hopefully have the time and ability to organize. For now I am just surrounded by way too much stuff.

I am right there with you, except I'm preparing to move out, not move in. My room has been a mess for a while, and now that I am organizing and packing, I realize that I really never need to buy anything ever ever ever again. LOL.

I dread moving my scrap space when we downsize. I hope it won't be for about 5 years. On the plus side, my plan is to buy a townhouse with a finished lower level. That will be my space, so I can have friends over.

Well same here so I hope I'm not going to have to move or downsize in the foreseeable future. I'd like to get the craft room repainted but am not sure whether that's a good idea or not!

My stash is pretty organized since I just can't stand it when any of my things are a mess. However that doesn't mean it would be easy to move all those containers. If anyone's looking tips on organizing there are some threads here that might help. Sorry I don't have links but you should find some with a search.

I need motivation to get my room in order. DH would be so happy if I could get the piles off the floor, but it doesn't all fit in the closet anymore. I just am overwhelmed and don't want to deal with the "it gets worse before it gets better" part of it. Same goes with my clothes closets. At least they'll get dealt with to an extent when I switch from summer to fall/winter.

I've heard that scrapbooking is actually two different hobbies. One, buying scrapbooking supplies. And two, actually using said supplies. I've got the first hobby down pat. I just need to work on the second one.
