I'm happy if this means I can use them in my Cricut!

Wow. I did not see that one coming, but I like it.
The 4.1 version of the software has been released, which should mean it now rates tech support. The business version allows you to save any file you create as SVG. That is really helpful for those of us who prefer to use the Silhouette software but want to cut on both Cameo and Explore.

Wow. I did not see that one coming, but I like it. I just was looking over at their website looking for ones that are SVG and my Wishlist is already long. I'm so excited about this!

That's great news. I'm happy with getting .studio files but it'll be great for those with other cutters

I just bought a couple Echo Park SVG cuts and it works! I love that I can match these cuts with my Echo Park paper.

Night Owl, do you mean that you tried cutting them in the Explore and it worked?
I am also wondering for files that we have already bought and downloaded in the Studio format, are we able to automatically download the SVG files, or is that a separate purchase?

There's an additional cost for the svg files. A regular design that is .99 is 1.49 with the svg bundled. The freebie today would normally be 5.99, but the svg bundle is 8.99. Logically, I would think you'd have to purchase the svg option because of the upcharge, but if I go look at designs I already own, I don't have the option to purchase only the svg. I'm not sure if it's because the svgs aren't available on older files or if it's just one of those transition issues they haven't addressed yet. If anyone figures it out, I'd be curious, too.

Night Owl, do you mean that you tried cutting them in the Explore and it worked? I set them up in Design Space on my mats last night but didn't cut. One difference is when I bring them in all the pieces are red, I had to click them separately to add a color (which isn't a problem for me because I usually would switch colors on the designs I uploaded). I did have to click the SVG option which made each design $1.49. The little bit extra cost was worth it to me because I have a few special papers from Echo Park I have been saving and now I can cut diecuts to match. Not every designer's stuff has the SVG option but I already have too long of a Wishlist.

Probably not a huge cost differential if you have a subscription...it might actually get people to sub and further their customer base. I'm always wary about updating right away, though, because their updates are notorious for causing so many issues initially.

I will be waiting awhile to update, until they have the probable bugs corrected, and it doesn't take an hour to talk to their tech support.

Finally got my Cricut out and I first tried cutting the owl from the Bundle of Joy line and it turned out really cute.
