it seemed like all the upgrades were for the Designer Edition I just have the regular ol' edition (and I don't know what version I'm on - I haven't used my machine in 2017)

Those sound like good upgrades. I'm up in MN fora couple of weeks. Hopefully if it's bad someone will report it here.

I updated to 4.1 today and also upgraded to Business Edition. I think it's brill I can see many more fonts than I could in Designer Edition, the shadow works better, the multiple undo is fabulous, the offset works better and although I don't use SVG myself, I like that I can offer that now. I even tried out the Library export/import, just to see how reliable it is. It worked perfectly; just by right-clicking on the local user Library first, calling it Library 01 and then clicking on the Cloud Library and calling it Library 02. When importing everything goes only to the local user area but nothing was missing, so I was quietly impressed.

I have not upgraded yet but does anyone know why my library has 6 of every image? Its only on the downloaded from other sources than Silhouette that it did this. I just went to cut something over the weekend and was like Whoa WTH

Yep, I'm upgrading. I have the designer edition and upgraded to version 4, which I wasn't happy about at the time. I've gotten used to it, but certain things I used to do easily sometimes take a little longer because the menus are buried. Looks like they've listened to us users and made some changes so I'm looking forward to updating. I looked at the business edition but for the extra $50.... nope... not for me.

I just went to cut something over the weekend and was like Whoa WTH That happened to me with one update. Not sure if I ever got to the bottom of why - and I ended up deleting lots of extras and then moving most things into the cloud for the next update because that made it so much easier. Did you export your local user profile and then reimport? It could be the library is corrupted.

Okay -- now I'm thinking about doing it .... damn ........ I do NOT want to have to fuss with the library ... or anything else for that matter!

They have some fabulous upgrades in this new version, but I am waiting to update for awhile. I always wait till the bugs are worked out. There are always bugs in new updates, or so it seems.
I am looking forward to updating, though. I am pretty excited about the new options. I will probably also pay for the business upgrade. It looks as though the ability to save as SVG is part of the business upgrade.

Just wondering if anyone did the update over the weekend? I haven't upgraded to V4 yet at all. But the new 4.1 version really has me interested.

I upgraded and it seems to be working fine. Traced/cut something and also cut a whole page of stamped images using Pixscan.
