I went last year and it was a lot of fun. I should have entered it this year but didn't. But meeting a friend there today. Or this morning. I will report back with my finds. I also got a Tim Holtz clock as well. Brand new in package. It was $5. CTMH and Stampin Up stamps and large wood block were all $5.

Sounds like so much fun!!
I would love to go to a scrapbook yardsale. So many goodies for discount prices.
Good luck in finding great stuff.

I love sales like that! Have fun! I'm so sad I'm going to miss out on my friend's scrappy rummage sale in IA this fall. I still have a ton of stuff to sell and I always come back with some awesome treasures.

I would love to participate in a scrappy yardsale, both as a buyer and a seller. Alas, I've never heard of such a thing around here.
Have fun, and do come back to tell us what you got!

Scrapbook Island/Creative Escape in San Jose is having a flea market this weekend as well. I saw quite a bit of stuff set up in the back of the store on Thursday, though in past years they had to sublet a separate space because they had so much product. I won't make it back for the sale, but I bet there were some happy bargain hunters.

I'm back and $50 less richer. Met a friend. We shopped for each other. Threw it all in one bag and sorted it out in the end.
The yard sale area was pretty tight. Most people were courteous. Couple were not There were 8 vendors. 3 were not really great. 2 were just so over priced. 2 just didn't have good stuff. I heard one lady had $200 worth of stuff from one vendor she bought dies and a ton of stampin up stuff.
I'm going to gather up some stuff this year and maybe get a table next year. Tables cost $5 or $10.
I got a lot of stamps. Couple dies. I will take pics later and post tomorrow.
Have another function to go too.

I've never been to one of these sales. None of my LSSs had them. I did, however, pick up some items at the swap meet but it's not quite the same thing. I'm looking forward to your pix.

My LSS had a basement sale for all their scraps and samples. Any package they had busted open for a class and hadn't used was up for grabs. I walked out with my arms full !!! Glad you had a great time

I wish we still had a LSS around. I loved the vendor sidewalk sale days.
I love all the stamps you got, especially the winter & snowglobe set!

Nice score! As I mentioned, I just love those kinds of sales. I think I may have that snow globe set somewhere in my stash! Not sure which of the 30+ boxes of stamps it might be in though... (hangs head in shame!)

Our LSS has a Garage Sale every three or four months. The people who sell their items get store credit. I haven't been for a while. Need to go in October.
