Crafters - any project plans for Christmas?

I am making my niece some outfits for her stuffed monkeys that she has already mentioned to her mom that she would like. Fortunately they are about the same size as an American Girl doll so I have a good starting point, though I may need to borrow one at some point for fittings.

i also need to start thinking about my cards for this year.

 My DH loves cars. We bought all the stuff to make these last year but never did. We'll send them to our card list of about 12.

Those are really cute! What is used to make the snow? 

If you find that ingredient please let me know! I'm missing it too. Last year I didn't even make cards, something I traditionally love to do. I'll make chocolates again this year, I picked it back up last year after not doing it for many many years after my dad died.

DH makes stained glass ornaments for each "grandchild" cousins to our kids. His grandfather did it for them and he follows what his grandfather did, put puts his own spin on it.

For example last year was Angels, so our angels had slightly different wings. This year it's the 3 kings, his grandfather did one king per kid, but DH wants to do a profile of all 3 together. Each family with more than one kid gets different colored glass, so our DD might get a blue king, while DS gets a green. Other families with 2 kids are spit the same way so once he gets a design he can knock them out pretty quickly. Problem is he's a procrastinator and hasn't found a pattern he likes yet. Between that and working part time at Target I don't know how he's going to get them done this year. I'm a little done pushing on him to do it. This is his deal, and he can answer to his family if they don't get done.

Where did you find the cars?

I am thinking about making these for my co-workers. We made them at Stamp & Scrapbook Expo and they were easy and I bet with Christmas papers they would be nice. I did buy the supplies while I was there.

Very pretty- agree- they will look fabulous with Christmas papers- and there are so many pretty ones to choose from!

I try and do something new each year. Last year I made felted wool gnomes. I need to start looking around for ideas for this year.

If you mean Christmas gifts, I'm slowly working on dishcloths for the family stocking exchange. I'm also making a few cross stitch stuff.

I'm making sure I have Christmas stuff for my craft shows. I've been thinking about hitting the bullet and paying for two booths and expanding my stuff so that I could have a display of just Christmas stuff. Not this year as I've already booked a few shows.

You can find almost any model vehicle in the Hot Wheels line. You may have to hit a few stores to find the model you are looking for.
