Wow...maybe . I so wish it wasn't that expensive. Our whole family would love putting that together.

Oh I want it so badly. My brother works for Skywalker Sound and gets a discount of some sort on Disney stuff, but even a discount makes this soooo expensive. A girl can dream, though!! LOL!

Wow! One of my boys has the smaller one and DH was forever fixing that thing when they would try to play with it. It's probably a good thing that no one in the house has Lego fever or that would be on someone's list for sure!

DS17 was guessing the price would be 1K. So it's a steal! Wish I could afford to get actually-for him. and me.

My son used to work at a Lego store ("Brick Specialist." LOL). He had an everyday discount - I think 30%. And then four days a year they had a 50% discount.

My kids love Lego, but that isn't even a possibility.

My husband has the Starship Enterprise. Please don't tell him about this one.

My husband would LOVE it, but that's a ways outside my budget.

It's pretty awesome. We're not into Star Wars here, however, and it's much more than I would spend on a Lego set for my kids, given that they aren't good at keeping them together at al.

Nope, if I can't afford the Disney Castle, I sure as heck can't afford this. Looks really cool though! If we ever win the lottery you cam bet your sweet bippy we will be spending a fair amount of cash at the Lego store!

oh my gosh, that is AWESOME! I'm not a Lego person at all, but I LOVE this! I wish we could afford it, and I wish we had somewhere to display it after it was put together!

My son had a plastic thing to assemble with model glue of the Millennium Falcon from either his dad or BIL a couple of years ago. It's big and it had a zillion pieces. One of them spent a lot of money on it!

I forgot, I bought my DS a smaller version of it years ago when it was on sale. It was a $150-200 model I found on clearance for under $75(?). Anyway I saved it to take up to our annual Door County vacation to give him something to work on evenings. He finished it on night one. So much for the rest of the week.

That's cool. But not something I would enjoy building. So many itty bitty parts.
We really want to get the Saturn V for DH. But it is sold out everywhere and we refuse to pay the jacked up prices from second hand sellers. It should only be $120.

And we used to think the Death Star was expensive. That was my first thought too!!! I am am not really a fan of the Star Wars sets because I find them boring to build. Way to many grey pieces.

My husband wad asking if I was planning on getting it, lol. The biggest set we have is a $200 set that I got for $100. It's been in progress since Christmas, so no way we could finish an $800 set, that must have over 8000 pieces. My phone keeps crashing trying to get to the link. I'm just happy I stumbled into a bunch of 50% off star wars Lego at target tonight. I'm all set for the next few birthday parties we get invited to :-) It took all I had not to get two tie fighters, lol. It's funny how I will not pay full price for one but I'll want two at 50% off. :-)

Nope. Not only is it way overpriced but I find the Star Wars sets really bland, I prefer my Lego bright and colourful.

We have other versions thank goodness! Still kicking myself for not getting the Death Star when it was "cheaper"!
