Final Update: Besides peeling off the drafting tape, it's all ready to be turned in. Now we can play: What scrap supplies do you see? Scrap Drawer Drawing Update: I just need to get it inked now and erase the pencil and it will be ready to turn in tomorrow morning Thank you for all the ideas! OP: Yes I said draw, not scrap It's for my junk-drawer contour drawing for art class. We have to draw a college of items to fill a page and I picked the theme to be scrapbooking. So far I drew a little notebook and a rubber stamp. I'll probably do a sprinkle of buttons and brads, and thread around some ribbon. A paper trimmer might be too big, deco scissors would be cool, maybe some inks... what else?

A rolling crop bag Punches - like the Fiskars squeeze handle ones An album with the word scrapbook on the front? Although most people use adhesive rollers, how about a bottle of glue?
That is all I can think of at the moment.

Thinking about what's on my desk right now and what has already been listed, I think the sides and corners of a craft mat peeking out from underneath all the other stuff would "anchor" it all in your drawing.

A few pens and markers, mini stapler, roll of tape, sheets of patterned paper peeking through...

I have 3 cute little white bowls that might be fun to draw if you have something similar. One has washi, one has die cuts & embellishments from my current project, & one has thread and string. A fun project!

This is a tough one, but can draw some photos? Landscapes would be easiest

Sounds like fun! Definitely pens, paper, ruler, glue glider. Maybe some scattered letters and/or other stickers/diecuts. If no cutter, how about an Xacto knife? Can you arrange stuff you use into bowls like scrappyem uses, arrange the other items around them/under them, then snap a photo and use that as a model for your project?

This is a tough one, but can draw some photos? Landscapes would be easiest I like the idea of photos. The idea is to draw objects that have shapes and she encourages us to position them in a different way. So I could draw photos but I wouldn't be invited to draw what's in them.

Thanks everyone! So far I have drawn the mini notebook, stamp, a pair of mini scallop deco scissors, a chipboard tag, and I'm working on a cat-eye ink pad now. It's due in a week

Nicely done. I think you did the best with the scissors--great dimension and perspective!
