I can't believe it's already September! I can't wait to start taking fall pictures to scrap!! Anywho, this month I challenge you to pick something from your stash that you haven't used in a while and use it on a page...it can be anything. This month I am going to try two things. 1. Use something older on every LO and 2. Open something new on each LO ...

That sounds like fun, dasmith2! I am always combining old an new on my projects and it feels good.
I mentioned in the September goals thread that I want to use more media and art supplies this month. Have been doing a lot of photo heavy pages lately, and fitting in small embellishments around them. I have been using blended Oxides on parts of cards, but not a lot on my pages. Time for me to dig into the art supplies!

Good challenge suggestion! I tend to use my old stuff, but not the new. Embossing folders are something I will also try to put to use this month!

dasmith2 this is awesome! I just put the build/bash kit challenge and this will work well! Great minds! I need to use my washi more, I was doing well and then stopped. I also want to use my stickers/embellishments besides wood/enamel/stars/hearts as I have gotten into a rut with those lately and I am BORED!

This is a great idea, count me in! I plan to use up some of the stack of old individual papers I've got stored in a box but haven't looked at in probably six months. I tend to buy collection packs now.
I'm going to try & make some kits up with them

I love getting a little kick to use my stuff!
I bought Gesso a long time ago and never use it so that will be mine (to use it at least a few times) as well as to use something older on most my projects.

Using both old and new stash I have that bird card! Cute cat pics. Dd sent me several pics of her dog and I made her a birthday card with them on shutterfly..had a free coupon. She hasn't said anything need to ask her. |
