There isn't any way to look into the "release" dates for upcoming lines, is there? Even if unofficial, like someone's personal site?
After waiting a long while from ACOT for my last order with some "preorder" items in it, I'm trying to plan my next order with that in mind. For example, I'm wondering if items from Dear Lizzy Star Gazer and AC Sweater Weather might take another month to actually get shipped out, you know? This purchase could be from Scrapbook.com or ACOT--I am trying to figure out if I should take advantage or Labor Day sales or sit and wait.

If you are on Facebook, the owner of paper issues will post eta on product. Especially if she's got several big things coming so we can plan our spending.
It's paper issues friends and fans. She also posts sale codes there first.

Thank you! That sounds about perfect, although I don't use Facebook.

I rely upon Scrapbook Generations "New & Coming Soon" tab on their website: www.scrapbookgeneration.com/new-coming-soon/I don't ever pre-order. I enjoy getting email notices from SG when product is in and buy it then. I plan for my scrappy spending by using their guide on what is coming in when...

I am not happy with ACOT, I had a PRE ORDER that I waited 6 weeks for and then they were out of one of the items that I pre ordered. I have used them for years, they were my favorite online store but lately it seems like they are slipping and they are taking longer to ship out their items than they used to. But if you don't pre order you risk the items being sold out, when I waited on one Crate Paper line I then had to order it from different places to get everything I wanted from the collection.

Usually ACOT has an "ETA" date on the pre-order items. I find these to be pretty accurate, although sometimes it will only say "September" instead of "mid-September", so that can leave it pretty open.
If I'm placing a sizable order, I will break them down into separate orders if some items are coming in a lot later than others.

But if you don't pre order you risk the items being sold out, when I waited on one Crate Paper line I then had to order it from different places to get everything I wanted from the collection. Yeah, I absolutely hear you there. And when you preorder there, it says how many items they have still available to sell, so you expect to get one as it appears they are keeping track. It would be very frustrating to preorder, wait WEEKS, watch as stuff sells out on other sites, and then you still don't get your preorder items. While I got all of my last preorder items (after waiting a long time, and weeks after product was available elsewhere), when I called they suggested I drop a "really heavy" item from my order--of course it was a key reason why I preordered in the first place and one that was sold out instantly. Maybe it was a coincidence, or maybe they know which items are in high demand so if they get people to agree to remove it, they know they can immediately resell it no longer at 20% preorder pricing. My order shipped out the next day after I called though.

This may be what I will have to move to in the future, but sheesh it adds up with shipping! I wish the ACOT dates were more accurate as to when they actually can SHIP the products though. It seems like their dates are the ones from the manufacturer, but then you have to add more time for the ACOT receiving/speed process. It is difficult when their items seem to become available so much later than scrapbook.com.
