It isn't in a very desirable community, so that factors into the price, I'm sure, as well as the amount of money that would need to be invested in redoing the paint and floors. That is not a desirable community? It sure looks like it from the picture. The lake, the large homes nearby. What is the issue? Drugs? Crime? Proximity to polluting sources? And yes, you would spend a fortune redoing this home to make it your own. With that amount of square footage, replacing the carpeting with wood is going to be a huge bill. You're looking at a couple of homes on one lake. People are not generally clamoring to move to Waterford.

The thing that gets me is that it was built in 96, the 80s were long over by then.

I'm not sure what's on the tv in picture 27 but it looks a little bit like porn. I noticed the dildo pot in the bathroom (maybe picture 18). Wow.

Looks a bit like it was decorated by Malibu Barbie I can't top that comment. It describes the house perfectly!

You don't see those colors often. Kind of fun. If I bought it, I think I'd leave it that way for a while.

In addition to the 2 kitchens, did anyone else notice they had 2 laundry rooms? The first one was big and huge (I was rather jealous, that's why I remember) and the second one looked like just a washer and dryer in a small room, maybe in the basement.
Random tidbit, when my in-laws redid their kitchen, they installed all the old stuff in the basement. They live in a neighborhood close to several Orthodox Jewish synagogues, so having a second kitchen for keeping kosher is a desirable resale point.

I kind of like it-- aspects of it, that is. It seems like a bargain, and it looks like it's clean and has been well-maintained.
I thought the dining room chairs were traumatizing/scary, though. Not entirely sure why.
I giggled at the dildo pot in the bathroom.

My 10 year old self thinks that is the most rad house I've ever seen in my life!

I almost feel ashamed that I don't hate it. Hahaha, I wasn't sure if I should admit I really love the pink on the kitchen wall. I wish they'd shown the view. I'll take this any day over animals on the wall or the rock quarry look. SaveSaveI was thinking this too! I was really kind of digging that pink and black kitchen and also the room with the indoor pool! They must have gotten one crazy deal on all that hot pink carpeting, it was in almost every room!

The Gumby-shaped dining chairs are weird. All in all, it's a really nice house if you can overlook the magenta - and as others have said, it's shockingly inexpensive for what you get.

Pink and turquoise = most of the scrapbook paper I pass up and there is a lot of it. Whole thing is way too modern for me. I want real wood and warmer colors and carpet (yes, I said carpet) with baseboards and crown molding. Haven't seen anything I could live with in years.

I would keep the pool area exactly the same. Imagine having a pool party with 80's music blaring. That would be cool.

I kind of love it. The people who live there must be so much fun. I personally would have gone with neutral carpet, but they went with what they loved. Good for them.

I have to admit I kinda love it. I could never live there all of the time, but would love to have it as a second home- after I win the lottery...

That's a lot of mirrors and pink! Very Miami Vice Art Deco. The bones of the house aren't bad though...

Naturally I went straight to picture 27! I don't see a TV in that photo, but I do see a large teddy bear sitting on a shelf. Is that what that is, lol. I'm on my phone and it looked like a tv to me. Well, it is sitting there with it's leg spread wide open, the shameless little tart! You would just have to dance around that place with awesome 80's tunes blasting! I see a great pea hang out spot right there!

I kind of love it too. It definitely needs cardboard cutouts of Crockett and Tubbs somewhere in there though.
The pool was amazing!

That is a super ugly house. I hate the huge spaces and double high ceilings. What a nightmare to live in.
