I went to a BBQ at my mom's house. It was grilled chicken with a bunch of sides and mom sent me home with dessert.

Dinner was really nice. I had veal parmgiana for dinner and mussels as an appetizer. Both were excellent. Dad had lamb souvlaki and pan fried calamari and he said it was amazing. They might put that on the menu from now one as it turned out so well. He wanted calamari that was low carb and he got it. All the food was excellent. I may burst soon, though. Still so good!

sueg , I will think lots of baby thoughts for your son and dil. It sucks that you are imprisoned in your apartment while they wait to fix the elevator. Grrrr. I am not really imprisoned here, but I am being very selective about what I choose to leave for. Today I have to go to the knee doctor, so I will attempt to get all other 'out of the house' errands done on the same trip. Now that it is no longer the weekend, I have a greater hope that progress can be made.

Cuban pork roast is in the crockpot right now and that means Cuban chicken roll ups (like sandwiches without the bread) later this week! Yum! Care to share your recipe? Love crockpot cooking. Sure! It was super easy and really good! I'm not sure how to add a link here, but here is the address dinnerthendessert.com/slow-cooker-cuban-mojo-pork/
