I bought 3 pair of Thinx during their Memorial Day Sale.
TMI below
1. I was worried that they were not 100% cotton. I am on my feet all day and moving, bending, etc. (I'm a nurse.) I have had no issues with these not being a cotton panty, if that is a concern.
2. I often cannot get to the bathroom ASAP. So I have always, always used a tampon plus an overnight size pad just in case of leaks. At 43 I had grown very tired of wearing a diaper sized pad. I put the Thinx on and went to work with just a tampon. First time in MANY years. No leak though. I felt almost free. It's been great in that regard. No need for pads overnight now, either!
I am very glad I took the plunge. They were pricey, but so are tampons plus a box of pads every month.
Next stop, Diva Cup. I'm hoping 44 will be the year I finally take charge of my period. How sad is that? lol

I have 3 pair of Thinx and they are great. Never heard of Icon, I'll have to check them out! I have been seeing ads for Thinx that are made of cotton now and those are intriguing.

Thanks for the review. How do they hold up? I'm pretty darn cheap when it comes to underwear so I am a bit anxious about the cost.

If you follow the washing instructions I find that they hold up well. Granted I only wear mine for one or two days out of the month. The original pair I have I bought about 3 years ago or so. I put them in the washing machine (you aren't supposed to) and have a time or two mistakenly washed them with fabric softener. They are still holding up good but their leak proofness isn't as good as it used to be. The new ones I bought last year and they are made out of a thinner fabric, I'm skeptical but they haven't failed me yet.

Ok, I will entirely vouch for the Icon ones! The price was very hard to get over, but I love them so much. They have replaced every other pair I have as now I have bought them a couple of times. They are so very comfy--just very stretchy and breathable and comfortable. They have held up great with daily use and lots of washes. If between sizes I found sizing down was better--they don't dig in at all. PM me with any specific questions, but I am really glad I bought them and will recommend them very much. Oh, and bonus, I can use them as a light Thinx too! I thought of buying those too but being able to use these is a huge bonus!

Thank you for mentioning sizing I saw some reviews that they cause wedgies if you don't get the right size. I was going to go bigger. Do you have a referral code?

The advertisement was hilarious. URINE luck. Bahaha
If I go to an excerise class with jumping jacks, I empty my bladder and use a small pad. So that pee train is a coming. TFS...

I haven't read the reviews there in a long time, but I did think they were accurate before, like they don't go through and just post the flattering ones. If anything, the leg opening can be a little big, but after a day they seemed normal. I don't think of these as wedgy-ish at all, but maybe that could be with certain styles? I find it even less so than with other underwear though. And I don't think that pouring water ad is accurate at all--really? The materials are really breathable and comfortable and normal so they don't hold a gallon of water but they also seem like nice materials you would want. Customer service there is awesome if you end up with something that doesn't work for you. I can try looking for a code this evening too. I think you may be really happy, every day I am so glad I gave these a shot, they have really exceeded my expectations!
