We needed a new comforter for our bed and I saw a quilt I liked on Zulily for around $65. I ordered the king size even though we have a queen bed.
I have to say I am so impressed with the quality of this quilt. It's a solid grey and the quilting is amazing, many times store bought quilts are barely quilted but this has quilting lines every 1/2 to 3/4 inch and has a great design.
Now I did have to hunt for this quilt-- they had a bedding sale and had TONS of quilts and comforters and coverlet, in all types if fabrics. I wanted a cotton quilt and this is 100% cotton. Some were polyester/cotton and some were microfiber.
They have bedding sales quite often, so be on the lookout.

Sometimes Tuesday Morning has nice brands for reasonable prices, but you have to be kind of open minded because it's kind of a crapshoot as far as colors, patterns, etc.

Other than the ones you mentioned, Garnet Hill, Company Store, haven't tried Williams Sonoma Home but they can have nice but princely things. Love LL Bean for quality sheets.

oh, I go through this same thing! WHY is it so hard to find a lovely set? It took me two years of looking for my daughter's new bedding. I found it on Amazon and wouldn't you know its since discontinued. Its really high quality, thread count and everything. That's so hard to find for 'kids' bedding. I never even heard of this brand Frank and Lulu. Wanna see? but yeah for me? Nothing. I dislike almost everything I've seen. I guess I'll know it when I see it, but yeah, I feel your pain. this is so pretty!!!!

I got super soft sheets at BB&B and they are wonderful! I need to get more and will probably go there. They are a bit more money than I wanted to pay, but worth it to me for their softness.

LLBean has great quality sheets, down comforters and duvet covers. Their styles are a bit limited but you can't beat the quality. I'm a big LLBean fan. I have flannel sheets from them that have lasted 20 years.

I'm trying to avoid paying $250 for a set of king sized sheets but I don't want to spend $100 and have them fall apart in six months either. Do the Bed Bath & Beyond ones last?

We just bought a set at HomeGoods. DH helped me pick something out. We looked at Penney's and Macy's (And I had kind of been looking at Target).
