Not interested either.
And dare I say, this is not a theme that lends itself to scrapbooking to me.

I might be interested, but not $30 for only 4 lessons.
I’ve been wanting to document my wellness efforts and exercise progress, so this would be interesting to me IF it is about the documenting part, not someone pushing their own idea of wellness or “mindfulness” or minimalism. I don’t want to be told by another unqualified, bored mama how to live my life, I want ideas on how to document it (and not in a planner by stamping how many glasses of water I drink or steps I take).

Cathy Zielski has done a year long class called FIT for a few years now. cbscrapper this might be up your alley for 2020. I have participated several years, took this year off but may take it in 2020. It is similar from year to year. She provides materials to document in several sizes.

I took this a few years ago and lost interest fast as I was doing one little word at the same time, but should probably revisit it!

Yeah, I have zero interest in any wellness thing from Ali. I don’t know what makes her feel qualified to give any sort of paid wellness class or advice to anyone. The only person I would pay for advice about health and well-being is a doctor or trained counsellor or therapist. Even self help books on the subject are usually written by a medical or wellbeing professional. Stick to the stamps and stickers Ali. Although I am sure a lot of people will lap it up.

From the class description it says that Ali is doing the documenting part and her other contributor, Robin (realwholefoodslife on insta) is doing the wellness part.

I think people genuinely just want good products and enough of it to meet the demand. New creative products that help tell your story. And you could argue her new class on wellness is doing just that. I don’t see it that way though.
People go wild for Ali product and I can think of so many things I’d wish she would develop and come out with.
I don’t look up to women like Ali though and consider them a role model for how to live my life. I don’t look up to any scrapbooking celebrity in that way. I think some people do though and perhaps that’s where a class like this would appeal. I like good, positive sentiments on products about living a happy healthy life and all that, but I don’t buy into the idea that these women are icons or a vision of the perfect life and live a life that’s better or more wholesome or whatever than mine.
I just want to buy good quality albums, products I can use to document my life, and learn some new creative ways to do so along the way.

I miss back in the day when scrapbookers would teach creative techniques. I'm tired of everyone being "intentional".

Story Camp January 2020 is open for registration. Got the email this morning, but just checked it and it’s not sold out yet. I’m still blown away by the price, especially considering it doesn’t even include food. (Well, two meal vouchers...)

Can anyone quickly tell me about skipping an Ali kit? Do I need to skip prior to the 13th? Or can I see the kit and then skip?
I'm very tempted to skip the November story kit & stamp. Gratitude is a nice word, but I don't need a kit devoted to it. (I think) And I'm going to guess this kit will be a lot of browns which isn't a color I enjoy crafting with.

Yes, before the 13th I believe. To skip, go to 'My Orders and Subscriptions' under you account and scroll down. There will be a button that says 'skip' or something like that under each sub.

Nope. It was originally the digital kit, and they renamed it "story class" last year. You've always gotten the digital kit and class content when you purchase, no matter what they call it. But this offer gets you a free month with a subscription, which is nice if you want to sign up. Code is GETSTORYCLASS.

I knew you got the digitals + class with the other subs, but I guess I never noticed they offered a digital kit with the class as its own sub.

So Laura Wonsik shared a layout in AE's FB group that she says 'I had so much fun with interactive projects for my Product Play content that I tried it on a traditional layout!' so Im guess one of her DD Product Play techniques will be similar to the spread she shared. I'm not the only one seeing a penis popping out from the Stories "pouch", right?

Yep that's a penis...but her technique is going to be stamping/die cutting vellum pockets? Wasn't that a huge trend in 2006 or so. I remember doing that back in the day. with paint and foam stamps.
I'm not paying $20 for that. I bet after that lesson goes live 14 fan girls copy it and are super impressed.
