I got the numbers as an add-on but I agree with teacherlisa. I will likely sell my SBTM kit.

So mad that I forgot to skip the SBTM kit...so much pink. I got the leather pieces because I'm sure I'll need them for WITL now that I have a new job as the secretary of my church (and make lots of lists so I don't forget things!

I really like the story kit and stamp this month and the stamp in the main kit does take up a lot of kit budget it's clear that is very usable for all sorts of projects and I'm really looking forward to getting this kit and all the ways it can mix with other kits.
Still happy with my decision to cancel my SBTM kit. Not even sure what my 2020 PL plans are right now.

I didn’t pick up any add-ons. Way too expensive.

I finally was on line when the add ons went live and after seeing the main kit, I decided I didn’t really need those numbers. Go figure!

I really like the list kit & stamp this month! I'm not a huge fan of the number stamp in the main kit because I don't like the mismatched numbers look at that much, but maybe I'll try it now that I have this stamp... or I'll use it when I only need one number. Not sure... everything else I absolutely love though. I'm really excited for this theme.
I didn't pick up any of the add-ons because I am drowning in supplies so they would probably just get added to my stash, but I really liked the pleather embellishments. I really like that this embellishment type has been added to the regular rotation, I prefer them over the rubber pieces for sure.
I really like some of the pieces in the SBTM... such as the floral card... but I agree it's too much pink. I like that the SBTM kits use the same color scheme for the same month each year because it helps me use the old supplies knowing they will mix in (I have labeled the chipboard sheets by the month/year and pull them out and add to my current kit fo the same month when creating), but I'm also a little ready for it to be mixed up. So idk... I see the pros/cons.
I do have a question for those of you that get the SBTM & story kit and use them in project life...
what month do you use the story kit for? So, for example, this kit is coming out Jan 15 but the SBTM kit is clearly for February so I will save it to document that. But what about the story kit? Do you use it for January or February? For awhile I was sticking it with the SBTM kit that it came with... just for ease and because the month is nearly over by the time I get it so if I'm documenting in real time I have to push it to the next month. But some of the themes have actually fit with months... for example, the "gratitude" kit came out Nov 15 (with the December themed SBTM kit) but it makes more sense to use that one for the month of November. Likewise with the "celebrate" kit that came out Dec 15, it makes sense for December.
But that means I have to be documenting behind... which is fine I guess, because I am behind. But I also want to start on January now and then fill in 2019 as I have time. But i want to use the "list" kit for January and I don't have it yet... and "celebrate" goes for December... so...
I wish that the themes would come out the 15th of the month PRIOR to the month it fits. But I guess it's difficult since most of the story kits don't actually fit a month and are just general life themes that could be used any time. I scrolled back and I guess at the very beginning they were working this way... e.g. "cheer" came out November 2015 (to be used in December) and "heart" came out January 2016 (to be used in February). Not sure why the pattern got switched up...

I have to say, this "List," kit is a really good one and the number add-ons. Those add-on prices are "clutching my pearls" worthy!

Just came to say the List theme might be one of my most favorites in a long while. Not necessarily because of the kit contents, although I really like them, but after watching her presentation I had SO many ideas. It was a great reminder for me to include this effective and easy story telling device more often.

She posted her new DITL kit today.
The first day is March 5th, and a second day later this year. The kit has options for "ing" words and then a thankful day, both of which she's done in the past. She's still not sure which theme she is going with first.
The 3x8 album is a bright teal with a grid pattern with page protectors and dividers.
The whole thing is an easy pass for me.

I thought it was all kinda cute. BUT... way too expensive for such a simple project. I mean a day in the life could be done in a TN with stuff you have for 10 bucks. This looks like it is more expensive than December Daily which runs a whole month. What am I missing here? I think I will actually do the project but include it right in my regular project life. I have never attempted DITL before, but thought it would be kinda fun. I just had no idea it would cost so much!

Also easy pass, she's finally hit a price point where I'm just not interested. Kit looks fine, colors are nice. I had a really hard time using the plastic pieces from the travel kit so no way would I pay $10 for those. I have 2 or 3 older day in the life kits that I have yet to use. It's just not a project I get into.

The kit and album is so cute and I absolutely LOVE the colors, but I agree it's too much! sunny1016 I love the idea of doing DITL in a TN. I haven't really gotten into TN's at all, but I've been seeing some cute little projects on IG that I would like to try. Plus they take up much less space than an album which appeals to me. ETA: I might get the kit but definitely not the album.

I love the project and do it with her every time. I ended up purchasing the main kit, but wavered quite a bit. No on the album, both due to the price, and I have a 6x8 album I had already planned to use. I did not really care for any of the extras. I totally agree that your could do this project with stuff in your stash. I did it that way many times, and almost this time,.

I think the colors are nice, but much too pricey. I would love the album if I had another project in mind, but I don't understand if for DITL.

I’m only mildly tempted by the fabric icons. The album bundle is probably a decent price considering what she usually charges for all of the separate components but damn seeing that price tag is jarring!

Super easy pass for me also...and $38 for the 3x8 album and pp? NO. The Citrus Twist album is looking more appealing. No dividers but $21 with 15 pp I have never attempted DITL before, but thought it would be kinda fun. I just had no idea it would cost so much! I did a DITL without a kit. I used some digital elements and made a photobook. The time for the photos and what was happening is all I need.

I'm considering the kit... I usually do this project with her once per year and just include it in an insert in my project life album. So I would definitely pass on the album. I really like the color of the album, but I would have to get it for another project and I don't have anything in mind... plus the price is high.
With the kit, I would probably use the "-ing" words for my documenting DITL but cut them down to 3x4 (this is what I did last year with the 3x8 cards). The "thankful" cards are cute, but I think I'd rather just work them into regular project life.
ETA: I ordered the kit.

Jesus Murphy. $40 for an album?!?! Woo boy she is reaaaaaallly reaching with these prices. For a small spine 3x8 album. Yikes. I can't help but compare pricing to the Simple Stories holiday binder: 6x8, large spine, page protectors and paper inserts for half the price. The colour scheme of this DITL release paired with the grid print on the album remind me of the mid-1990s. It's like looking at my school supplies back then. I'm positive I had a turquoise green binder with a grid print around that time.

They also have a new pack of 3x8 combo pages that has the 2x3 at the bottom of the page. Because cash in on the people (me) who would just flip it upside down and staple it close.
I don't do DITL, but the colors are nice. I do like the tag set, but I'm not paying shipping for just some tags. If they go on sale I'd pick them up. That's the only thing grabbing any of my attention from this release.

I love the album and the kit is cute and I love the colors. But, I don't think it's worth the price tag ... That album bundle is a hard no for me. $40 is outrageous, in my opinion. I was intrigued by the tag set but I am passing on that as well. I'm going to do DITL this year but I'm going to just include it in my 6x8 Project Life. I'm just not feeling the idea of doing one entire album for a day this year.

I want the chipboard from the main kit so bad...but that's pretty much it. The sentiments are what I've always wanted in the WITL products (not multiple repetitions of the days of the week or any other references to "week", just sentiments that might reflect my day). I have no use for the cards at all and not just because I don't do DITL. I like that she did the plastic icons again--I liked the DD ones, but didn't get them until I saw how others were using them and by that time they were sold out. I like the inside of the album, but not the outside color nor the price tag.

I was interested until I saw the price. Yeah, no thanks.
I 'get' this is supposed to be for 3 different DITL days but not everyone does 3 different days like she does. And if you're only doing one DITL, this is pricey as f^ck.

I like the inside of the album, but not the outside color nor the price tag. I liked almost the entire kit so I did not have a problem spending $25 for it. DITL is one of my favorite projects and I used all of last year's kit. HOWEVER, I cannot justify $38 on the album even with the transparency dividers. I passed on last year's album as well. I did purchase the plastic $10 icons because I missed out on the Travel ones she offered last year and I loved the way her CT used them. So I was happy to see something similar return. I liked the shipping tags but passed. I also didn't love the grid cover on the album but did love the inside of the album. I wish she would sell the albums w/o the transparency bundle then I would consider buying the black album from last year.
